My thoughts exactly. I can’t see how Dennis would be an improvement on what we already have.
Just as you think we are stepping up our level of players hearing the names of Cavani and Martial. To hearing Denis again, isn’t the most exciting. But if they want to loan out Oscar and get a known player back to cover I guess it’s fine. But at the same time it’s a non progressive move. And Denis doesn’t have the potential to be the centre piece. He is at least forward driven and risk taking so I enjoy watching him.
We need help in attack period. Out of the names being mentioned, I am high on Corona and the others are pretty meh to me. We shall see.
Which means Lopetegui will not play him so why bother? I mean he’s a fringe guy at Celta, why is this the move?
Manchester United have recieved an offer from Sevilla to take Martial on loan for the rest of the season, with no options for transfer in the summer. Rumours that Manchester will accept this offer, but nothing official.
exactly so why is there such a big canyon between that type of profile Lope asks (presumably communicating with Monchi), and the way he plays. Feels to me from the start of the season, his plans like expanding, and playing multiple styles has been thrown out of the window and went back to lope basic just because he can´t translate anything else onto the field. Our attacking play will only improve by individuals, so I guess that´s what we are looking for. Buy attackingmidfielders, wingers, until a piece fits. But it can be quite hard to stand out in a system like his, except when you are bringing something special and excepcional like Lamela did at the start.
If we manage to capture Martial and Corona, that would do the job just fine. And give us enough options to be more threatening to help us drag in those holy results. If Kounde leaves, things will go more drastically but let´s wait that out for now.
I can’t get excited about D. Suarez and same goes for Martial but for different reasons. Once again though, the club’s ambition couldn’t be clearer. Monchi can do better in the Summer market but right now we’re just looking to strengthen depth at a crucial time.
1st offer has been rejected from Man Utd. They want us to pay full wages + loan fee.
I guess they want to test the market, but i’m sure Martial’s mind has been made up on where he wants to go. This was never gonna be easy. Perhaps that’s why Corona’s transfer is rumoured to be close, since the Utd negotiations were always gonna drag.
I know Gnagnon’s contract was rescinded, haven’t heard anything about Amadou. He’s not registered, and i think they’ll just let his contract run out.
17 roster players on Rayo positive for Covid. Ouch
Amazing in both cases. Are you telling me those cats can’t play in like Saudi or MLS or China?
That midfield though…
Don’t lie. You know you love Rakitic and Jordan in the midfield
Yeh we rescinded contracts but it’s going to court so it will end up with us paying a settlement to the players.
:poop: with 7 covids, Cadiz with 5, Barca with Alves and Lenglet etc. Sevilla stum.
The local press are going crazy with Sevilla for refusing to allow access to training and for being stum on Papu and Ocampos who flew off to the Emirates for a few days. I’ll bet we have at least two down with Covids.
SFC Twitter showed photos of Mir, Bono, The Great Dane, Ludwig, IRak, and Lucas in training.
@Edinho you are going to have to go to some TFC games now:
“Italian star Lorenzo Insigne has reached an agreement with Toronto FC where he will move as a free agent at the end of the season, according to multiple reports.”
Since those Insigne-TFC rumours started, i’ve always been like “why can’t Sevilla get him?” Then I seen what salary they’re offering him and i’m like
Insigne’s great, but Giovinco was phenomenal. Still can’t believe he came to MLS.
It doesn’t make sense why he’s going to the MLS already, he still has several years left in Europe in my opinion. And if he goes to MLS, why can’t he go to Charlotte FC haha
Free agent btw. Crazy he isn’t back in MLS.
