This was rumored to be a second option if Martial fails, but I’d still go with Machis in that case.
Yet another player who’s best position is as a 10. What’s up with Lope and wanting players who don’t fit his preferred style of play? We play in a 4-3-3, not a 4-2-3-1.
Sure, he can play on the wing, but he’s not particularly fast, and rather inconsistent.
Just a right footed Suso, although I still think Suso is better. Isco in his prime was great but it’s unlikely he will find his form again
I would take Machis before Martial.
Hearing Cavani’s name again. Can’t see that happening, but maybe he wants to come do a Falcao.
Barca trying to drop Luuk de Jong off at Cadiz. Not sure, what’s there to win for Luuk.
I feel like we are already decided which is maybe harsh, as long as the sum/salary gets paid we prefer him better on any other team than ours.
Cadiz is one of the worst situations to go to tho, so from his stand point I would think twice as well. Not sure how many crosses let alone good crosses he’ll get to make use of his only strength.
We need him to play somewhere. His contract isn’t up for another two years so him not playing will only drive demand and transfer fee down.
There was a talk about English interest in En-Nesyri last summer. Any interest is probably just a holdover from then.
After last summer, I’m not going to give this any thought until I see Kounde standing in front of a press conference holding a Chelsea shirt.
Im not putting myself through the mental stress again.
They’ve been repeating the same news since last summer. It’s getting annoying at this point
40 million euro’s + Asensio for Kounde.
It would also give a ‘preferential option’ for signing Isco.
Dude, I love Asensio, full homo, no that’s a joke, but you get what I mean. Marco, in my opinion, is a rich man’s Suso. (sorry Suso-nation). This season he has not played a ton, but made a goal every 133 minutes, so he’s not totally in the gutter or something. I would be stoked to have him. Getting Isco as a side-dish will make Lope’s Christmas a good one. Maybe Sevilla would want a bit more money, but hey I like this a lot more than a swap for Zouma or Martial or something!
At this point, I kinda want to see him end up with Spurs or Arsenal just to piss Chelsea fans off lol
I’m just curious for whoever ends up getting Vlahovic, that one is set up for success for the next couple of years. What a beast of a striker he is
Also on the good side of news. Fernando extended his contract. We still need to look for a younger talent to start in his footsteps and overtake him but still Fernando will be very useful.
Ferran Torres, that’s about it.
The thing with Barcelona is that unless they get rid of Coutinho or Umtiti or any other player with stupidly high wages, they will be priced out of signing any of those players.
Sevilla wants Denis Suarez in the winter transfer market, possible exchange with Oscar. I don’t know, not a fan of this transfer. 28 years old, not exactly young, reached his maximum, rotational player basically.
Just read up on the Denis Suarez link. He’s been decent whenever he’s played us — he’s ex-Sevilla so i expect that — while playing alongside Tapia. I’m guessing Monchi/Lope want more creativity in midfield, seeing as we are also linked with Arthur.
Lope hardly ever starts Óliver, so I doubt this will be much of an upgrade in midfield. I could be wrong since i haven’t watched much of Celta. What do y’all think?
I’m sure many of us expected Óscar to work out, but ultimately it didn’t. And who knows what’s been going on behind the scenes.
Now with Denis Suarez, he’s decent, but he doesn’t necessarily convince, does he? It’s still just “paper talk”, but i trust the source. Perhaps he’s just a failsafe in case our priority signing doesn’t pan out.
But still, looking at our close rivals, is he better than Canales, Soler, or Trigueros? And why do i feel like we should be going for Campaña? Or even Bardhi? But to his benefit, Suarez did notch 9 assists last season.

Oscar definitely could’ve played more, but when he’s been given a chance, it hasn’t really come off for him. Only in the pre-season friendlies, and 1 or 2 games earlier this season.
Even he woulda been nice.
I think due to Campaña’s recent long-term injury, he might be more of a risk. If it’s indeed Denis that comes in, are we really gonna be that much better off in midfield? I know it’s slim pickings in January, but i’m just hoping i’m wrong about him as i was about Lamela.
Corona rumors heating up.
Campana is having another great season and leads Europe in progressive (positive aka forward) passes. We should be 100% in for him, but I doubt Levante will want to sell considering they are fighting/will be fighting regulation.
