I read now online that ManU, due to the big interest, want full compensation and a clause that letās Martial leave any time ManU wants. His whole paycheck is 8 million euroās a year(after-tax), or 16 million euroās a year (pre-tax). Thatās impossible for our club.

Rakitic is trying his very best, even if he doesnāt totally fit. He still knows how to find the net which i could definitely appreciate in a midfielder. Heās playing too far forward for his own good IMO. I really like Jordan, even if he struggles defensively, and can have a bad game here and there. But he takes the risks i want in a CM and actually looks for those forward passes. Iāll be surprised if he & Rakitic link up again for one of those goals this season.
We pull through out of these matches cause weāre resilient. But itās not like weāre winning because of the countless chances weāre creating. I just get the feeling Lopeās not totally convinced with Oliver Torres, or else heād be starting more. But heās injured now so we gotta stick with what we got.
Forward thinking / creative midfielders. We were fortunate to still have Banega as a reference during Season 1. I think thatās why Monchi tried to get Pjanic at the end of last window. Not sure how much a regista or deep-lying playmaker would help this midfield, but itās clearly our weakest link. There arenāt many out there with the quality to play at this level, so a good one wonāt be cheap. Thatās why i was happy with the Arthur rumours, cause itās someone who takes care of the ball, and at least has some vision.
If weāre actually bringing in 2 wingers in Tecatito & Martial, iāll be fine to live on the rest of the season with the midfield we got. Even with that, i still donāt think weāll see much of Papu play inside, and that is a complete waste of his talent.

Joselu was the preferred choice for a reason. His 9 goals have him ahead of Rafaās 5.

I donāt think so. Heās 31, and Alaves wanted 20 million if Iām not mistaken.

We knew that YEN would disappear for a month so a player who could hit the ground running like Joselu would be a fair call but theyāre all so different as players itās hard to say.

IĀ“m down for a marble rock fitting into our defense btw, young centre back with a Barca background doesnĀ“t sound bad. Also Azmoun has found an agreement with Olympique Lyon, one of the names that went round last summer. They are only paying 4m, quite good business for them.
IĀ“m also really for playing hard to get with Martial, no way we are gonna pay 8m or anything close to that. But half of the season has already past so wouldnĀ“t the remainder of his salary be more closer to 4m. Its still plenty, for a 6 month period but he can be of so much value for us as well.

Good effort! But Lamela is not just a winger, he should be in the list among Attacking Midfielders and forwards too.

Me? Iād welcome him with open arms as we need forwards and I do think heās a wonderfully talented player. No itās not worked out for him at Man United but I think he could really thrive at a club like ours.

Well thats the world of football as wellā¦ some phone calls and big bags of money have changed the course of so many transfers, even mid flight lol. Even if we have been trying to pull him in 3 years. Until he signs and shakes Monchis hand anything can happen.

Latest new one iāve never heard of before. Angelo Fulgini (25, Angers) Ivory Coast/French attacking midfielder. Last year scoring 10 goals, so far scoring 3. Current Value about 11m, contract till 2023. His profile looks interesting.
