Real through. What a comeback. Brilliant from Benzema.
You have to hand it to them. They have that winners mentality. Never know when they’re beaten!

Good for them. Could’ve been good for us too as they’d have spread the focus between CL and La Liga, but unfortunately it doesn’t matter for us at this point.
Quite surprised they went through though. Benzema is a legend!
Anyone else think Benzema fouled the GK for his 1st?
Nah shoulder to shoulder
PSG owner or president or whatever sure did @Brian
Fair play to atleti! Great result for them.
Glad for Atletico they kicked out Man. Utd.
Ajax lost it to a header of Benfica but deserved more.
I wore my Ajax Bob Marley kit today forgetting that they played today. Happy for Benfica
Good win for Atletico last night. Shows the strength of La Liga is still there although I accept United aren’t the side they were. Two sides now in the last eight.
Rooting for Emery tonight ![]()
Yes fingers crossed for them! Would be great to see three La Liga sides in the last eight.
A few sides in the Europa also including us, hoping we can progress further. ![]()
Villareal doing it! good shit, penalty from Moreno and a corner ending at Pau Torres his feet. 0-2 up. That´s done, last 8 for them, congrats. Danjuma putting in some more salt, with another penalty after a desperate block from de Ligt. 0-3.
Plus a big financial bonus for the club. Massive for them.
Tomorrow our turn.
Congrats Villareal. Superb result and brilliant achievement.
Doing La Liga proud!
Fair play to them. They played kinda like Juve did in the first match - slow, calm, going for maybe a quick counter. Job well done.
Not the most exciting, but playing 100% for the result. Emery just got at thing for cup-games.
It has been a good game. Glad to see Villareal moving on.
Unai Fucking Emery! Damn that team is fun to watch.
Second penalty there. 3-0 This game. 4-1 aggregate. Villareal is bringing it to them until the end
And some say La Liga is dead…
Just remembered Juventus is still one of the front-runners on that atrocious Super League where only ‘big’ clubs are allowed, aren’t they? Makes this even better.
‘Balls of steel’ performances from both Atletico last night and Villarreal tonight. This is how it’s done.
Now it’s up to us to keep the La Liga spirit alive and do a similar job tomorrow night vs. West Ham. Compared to what Atletico and Villarreal did, knocking out Man Utd and Juventus, our job is far more easier, but it still has to be done. If we fail to do it, then by Rogelio’s comparison standards we’ll have to lock the club with a steel padlock and quit for the season ![]()
Happy for Emery!
As much as corruption, scandals and favoring of RM (more) and Barca is done in La Liga, the European stage shows that clubs from this league have a lot of passion and character and in a good day they can beat any team out there.
