Good for them. Could’ve been good for us too as they’d have spread the focus between CL and La Liga, but unfortunately it doesn’t matter for us at this point.
Quite surprised they went through though. Benzema is a legend!

Fair play to them. They played kinda like Juve did in the first match - slow, calm, going for maybe a quick counter. Job well done.

‘Balls of steel’ performances from both Atletico last night and Villarreal tonight. This is how it’s done.
Now it’s up to us to keep the La Liga spirit alive and do a similar job tomorrow night vs. West Ham. Compared to what Atletico and Villarreal did, knocking out Man Utd and Juventus, our job is far more easier, but it still has to be done. If we fail to do it, then by Rogelio’s comparison standards we’ll have to lock the club with a steel padlock and quit for the season

As much as corruption, scandals and favoring of RM (more) and Barca is done in La Liga, the European stage shows that clubs from this league have a lot of passion and character and in a good day they can beat any team out there.
