We created danger in the first two minutes and have retreated into defence. You can see that without attackers we have no exit from defence, if Lope can pull this off it will be studied in the text books.

Sevilla need to keep the ball better, as Tim says with no strikers, there’s no vertical exit so they really need to keep the ball to enable the full backs to push forward and give them some more options to get out of their own half.

Great play by city. That’s the class they got. Going to be a long night as we thought.
Also Robbie Savage on the BT Sport feed has to be my least liked commentator, he’s still salty about Sevilla beating Man U in the Europa League.

It’s the same every match. They can play for 20 minutes and then that’s it.
