I agree I remember that season. We were top after first half of season. Then we know what happened with the refs and authorities giving many dodgy decisions against us.

Thatā€™s why itā€™s so hard to win it. Not only are we fighting giants clubs with star players being Real Madrid and Barca and very good at Atletico but also the officials. If we ever win it one day we deserve more than just the trophy to be honest.

Hard to call it anything other than a collapse by Atleti. But hey WE :wink: have a legit shot at our second La Liga ever. The odds may be long but theyā€™re better than theyā€™ve been in 90 + % of seasons. Those guys out there are leaving it all on the field. Mad respect to this club regardless of how the next 5 games go.

Well they have to drop points somewhere. Atletico has to be aggravated to atleast defeat Barcelona, and give it all, thats part 1. Then part 2: we need Barcelona to atleast draw, one more. Valencia and Celta have had their number multiple times. So itā€™s possible.

We go undefeated and its the most legendary title run to pull it off. Letā€™s not wake up yet, keep dreaming!

Donā€™t forget Shend. Athletic have to play on Wednesday against Valladolid, while we can rest until Monday. That has to be in our favour.

Itā€™s not the odds on choice but Iā€™d give it a 5%-8% odds at this point. Those odds double if Barca drops points on Wednesday.

Off them remaining fixtures I canā€™t see past Barcelona. But we are in the picture and have a chance. We will probably need to win every game and pray to them football gods.

I would rather we win it next season, when hopefully we are allowed back into the stadium to witness it.

If Barca drop points in either of the next 2 games it will get very interesting. I just hope we can beat athletic bilbao next week. Then we can go into the big clash with Real Madrid with a chance and keep it going.

Could you imagine what the sanchez pizjuan would have been like full right now? Even still the Sevilla fans will be very excited right now regardless of what happens.

I get that you would want that, but damn it a championship is something that can be celebrated for a year or more. The celebration in the city would be like something never seen before.

Iā€™ve gotta agree with Chris. I only made one Columbus Crew game last season due to restrictions and watched the entire playoffs on TV. Obviously itā€™s better to be there for a championship season but it still feels pretty damn good thinking of the Crew and that trophy was won in December. Iā€™ve celebrated with friends every bit as much as if I had been in that stadium to see it in person.
