Kounde, Acuna & Navas are now on 4 yellows, so they need to be very careful v Athletic otherwise we could be without all 3 against R Madrid

Then we have to spare them or atleast Koundé and Acuna. We need those vs Real, if we don´t win with our subs vs Bilbao it doesn´t matter anyway.

If we win all our remaining games it doesn’t guarantee the championship, in other words it’s out of our hands.
But with the pressure mounting on the other 3 it’s easy to imagine a scenario developing where it’s actually in our hands, (lot’s of ‘if’s’ coming next) although it would probably come down to the last game. There also exists the possibility of sealing it before the last game but that would need some pretty catastrophic failures by the other 3.

Imo we’d love to see Atleti beat or at least tie Barca but our only concentration should be on controlling what we can. I’ve found when teams look ahead with what ifs they often end up not taking care of their own business. I’d put it over 50/50 that 85 points wins La Liga. Sevilla should be concerned with getting to 85 points.

Yeah I agree. Although personally I think even if we win them all I think we’d still just fall short. My opinion is if we win them all we’d probably finish 2nd behind Barca. I feel atletico could definitely drop at least 4 more points as they in free fall a bit and we have it in our own hands to finish above Real Madrid. Atleti is possible to catch but we still relying on other results.
The problem here in my opinion is Barca. I don’t think they will slip up enough to allow us to overtake them. We will see though. I think Barca will beat atletico in the big game. However, maybe they slip up against Valencia, granada or Celta? Unlikely but in football we can never know. We need Barca and atleti to draw really as the perfect result but I think Barca will beat them.
If we can win all the games or most them it will be amazing enough. The first aim is to try beat the record 76 points we got with unai emery. If we can get 80 points even or more would be incredible and try to get at least 3rd or 2nd.
Sadly I think we need to many results to go our way to win the title but all we can do is keep winning and put the pressure on. This season is already historic enough will be more amazing if we set a new points haul and try to finish above one or even 2 of the big 3.
The head to head being against us is a bit of bummer. As if we could have finished level with Barca and atleti to win it would make it easier. However, we lose on head to head to both making it more difficult as we need more points than them both.

Well they don’t say why either, just a solo practice for once doesn’t necessarily mean terrible. We have some more days to the game, and maybe he will join on the other training sessions. If it is bad with him and he can’t play in the end, I believe we can still cover it well enough with Rakitic Fernando Oliver

If Barca wins this one then it’s more or less over as there’s no chance in hell that they will slip up twice so that we can snatch it in a surprising way with 5 matches left.

Yeah it’s true. While Messi is in la liga it’s very difficult to get the title. He does always step up in the big la liga games when they need him. Yet another season of 25 plus goals for him. He’s the greatest ever though with Ronaldo and that’s what we up against.
