To be fair, I read it correctly. I just thought we were already in July :joy:

Don’t know if anyone has posted this article, but it’s below in casr you haven’t heard/read about the recent investigations of 777 partners. Given they’re a minority owner of the club, it’s alarming stuff.

Is the big meeting next Thursday?

Thursday, July 27 at 6 PM.

Now I understand why they didn’t schedule anything this week. All hands on deck.

Let’s see what happens. Big week for the football club coming.

Monchi transferred his shares so that they are represented in the meeting by Enrique de la Cerda, Del Nido Benavente’s advisor in the current governing body of Sevilla FC.

Probably not. If it is Del Nido though get ready for the arrogant comments and snipes at other Spanish clubs returning.

I remember him mocking Bilbao, Barca, Real Madrid and :poop: a lot in the past lol

His 2 famous quotes though

“We won our 6 trophies not with humility but with arrogance” lol

Then the other about Bilbao - “We will go to San Mames and eat the lion” They terrified of Kanoute!” Sadly on this occasion for the copa semi I think in 2010 it backfired and we lost 3-0 lol

It’s never a dull moment with him and we got to expect more drama or savage comments if his plan to take over works haha

I don’t think there will be any changes regarding transfers. Just because there is a new president doesn’t supply new funds unless something crazy happens and Del Nido sales shares to the Americans. That would be a risk to him though.

I don’t think going in debt like before is an option either because of the La Liga financial changes. It’s a different league now.

Estadio Deportivo has a live update thread going.

Castro blocked Del Nido from voting again, so basically everything is getting kicked down the road.

I thought del Nido had the power to vote this time? How did that reverse?

After one hour and 12 minutes, because the Extraordinary General Shareholders’ Meeting started late, said meeting is finished. The entire institutional and shareholding situation will continue to be dealt with in the courts.

Basically since Castro has appealed that courts decision, he is saying that it remains the same; he can’t vote. So nothing changes today. We have to wait for the appeal decision and then we will do it all again.

Alright. Thanks for the update.

Del Nido Benavente is muddying the waters and eventually Castro will fall into the trap.

I think it’s only a matter time before del nido wins in end.

Castro is fighting to delay it though. This ongoing saga is crazy at this point! Lol
