Summer 2024 - Sevilla FC Transfer Rumors

What’s the feeling you get from the Ansu Fati rumours?

I think it’s kind of exciting, but it can not be your main target or building block for the new team. Seems like a very unstable player to get. If the offer is good and he personally wishes to come here and makes big sacrifice financially. I would accept him as an additional wild card.

Some folks have him in the top XI for La Liga this season. I’m not sure he’s been that good, but he has had a good season. I can’t see how we pay ~12 million euros for someone in this transfer season when we will need to fill so many gaps.

Exciting player who is often injured; however, it would only be a loan deal, and why bother with that? We need to invest in players that are going to grow with Sevilla over the course of several years if we are serious about a rebuild.

What makes you say, it HAS to be a loan deal. Barcelona want to move on. They have plenty of youth coming from their ranks. He’s not developing as they are wishing he would. They are not gonna give endless time.

It could be a moment already where we can sniff out a long term deal. Or something like we did with Oscar Rodriguez. Doesn’t have to be only short term at all. Especially if it is in Ansu his intentions to come here and we know who his father wants him to play for.

His market value currently is 30 million and didn’t they make his buyout clause like a billion dollars when he resigned? Do you think Barcelona will give us a sweetheart deal? I can’t see a way that would happen. I can’t even see a loan to buy working out. We will not have the money or the salary cap to afford a player such as Fati imo.

Ansu Fati just screams expense risk. His deal with Barça is till 2027, so i doubt any transfer fee would be cheap. I love the player, but we can make better investments.

(Why am i always forgetting to press send on my replies…)

There is no need to take that buy out clause serious any way. A player and especially with family influence can make those situations change quickly. Also they sure as hell know he’s on the downfall, scarred and looks to fall short for them.

Could we? Should we?

AS Monaco announces the departure of Wissam Ben Yedder, whose contract expires on June 30, 2024.

Well we also took Mariano Diaz. Ben Yedder will be great as a third striker in the squad.

WBY probably has other things to worry about than playing football I think.

Agree.

Definitely don’t want to be a club like Getafe that brings in a rapist. Fucking terrible. Depay is a good option; and there are a lot of other good options.

Maybe not judge prematurely, before the case has settled. Allegations are enough apparently.

Historically, allegations aren’t believed, and victim suffers additional trauma - and historically, there are cases of women lying. Two things can be true. Regardless, my preference is to not have someone play for the club I love, caught up in sexual abuse allegations.

Or we can bring up his nodisputable tax evasion charges.

Well you just called him a rapist.

And you are offended ? Must be more about you than him.

That’s surely related to rape.

Shakira has done those.
