I read that maybe itâs not as bad as first thought, but it was a clickbait article.
Roma very interested in Bade.
Instead of:
-
Stating clearly that Bade is not for sale - he is our best fucking CB atm and one of the best weâve had in the club.
-
Buying or loaning in at least another solid CB.
Orta instead allows other clubs to flirt with Bade at a ridiculous price of 20m.
Has no plan on signing or loaning in new CBâs, counting on the inept CBâs that we currently have in the squad.
Contemplating on getting Ramos back is not going to do us any favor⊠Ramos is crap compared to some of the rumors like Szalai, Hermoso etc.

What do yâall think of Orta saying our transfer activity is practically done? 
On the one hand I understand the stance, the club needed to reduce the wage bill quite significantly with no European football on the cards this year. We have brought in 7 players, so itâs not like we havenât signed anyone.
However, they are still very light up front and in defense, so an injury or two could see rather undesirable lineups for stretches of games, which could impact our league position.
Personally I donât ever see Marcao being able to play close to a full season and I donât think Iheanacho is going to get 15/20 goals a season. If Isaac becomes the main striker, then thatâs a lot of pressure for a guy going into his first full season with the first team.

I mean, to be clear, he seemed to say âto have arrivals, we need to have departuresâ. I interpreted it as âwe canât have 5 center backs on the squad and sign anotherââŠnor can we afford to!
But yeah, fully agreed, we are toast if we stick with the defense we have without at least a pairing for Badé in the back.
So, before we freak out too much, who gets loaned, who gets sold? I truly hope we donât sell BadĂ©, but then again, I think Iâd take $25 m given what we paid. And then we go to market at a higher price point.
I would loan out MarcĂŁo in hopes he finds a way elsewhere and his market value shoots back up to where it belongs.
I might also loan out Nianzou as long as thereâs someone decent to replace himâŠ

Thatâs how I read it. For those together come, some must leave. Still time. Jordan needs to find a squad. Montiel and possibly Acuña will be on the way out too. We are also very heavy at RB until December.
