I don’t see us suddenly pay a big sum for a winger either, so then we are left with the option for another loan from a top team. And hope he adapts well and wants to perform It’s just sad but maybe best. Or do we come back at De Frutos or something like that.

Is there a single player in the squad who has a chance of raising his market value in the next 3 years? Maybe Nianzou and Mir?
There’s no spine in the team. The pieces don’t fit. Other than Bono and Acuna, is there anyone else who’s a penciled-in starter? Maybe Papu and Fernando, who are both ancient.
We built our attack around Navas for the last couple years and now that he’s started to fade, there’s no clear plan. Just a rotation of interchangeable injury-prone/misfit CAMs and RWs who are past their sell-by date and have no continuity. There’s nobody to link it together.
Gotta sort out the plan and roles ASAP. It’s gonna be a long season.

I was speaking to guys over the weekend and sent out some messages last night to get more opinions.
It’s been difficult for him, it is immensely complicated to get it all to fall into place. He’s got big problems at both ends signing and selling plus limited finances. I think he’s counting on the last minute desperation. About 10% of the fans are disappointed in his ‘planification’.
About 100% of the fans are extremely upset by Lope.
Based on talking to a couple of dozen Sevillistas.
I’ll just add that about 50% were perplexed about Marcao, he turned up on the training ground 1st day then disappeared, some say he was overweight.
The injury is nothing just a micro tear so it’s OK to make sure it’s recovered but some think he’s just overweight.

He is of Kosovo-Albanian descent yes, but I could care less if he’s a terrible option for Sevilla at this time.
The only compatriots I’d take at this time are: Vedat Muriqi - CF (but still doubtful), Arber Zeneli - LW (not 100% sure) and Amir Rrahmani - CB (100%, miles better than anyone that we have now).

That’s sad to hear. So technically we still haven’t replaced Diego Carlos and will need another CB latest by January - ideally within this window lol.

The absolute shortcut of it all will be that Januzaj is de replacement of both Ocampos and Tecatito. I can even see te possibility of them thinking like this…

Raúl de Tomás from Espanyol, who prepared well and got Joselu as a replacement. And now they are looking to get big bucks for RDT and ship him out.
Very little mention of this in recent conversations on the Forum, but I’m glad you raised it. This is long overdue reliance on Navas, and his fading has put too much pressure on the midfield to create danger.

What the hell are they even thinking going for RDT. Go for Boye or Sadiq ffs… RDT won’t be ready for another couple of months at least - what’s the freaking point?
Sadiq is in great form and scored two goals already in La Liga (out of 3 matches). Boye has at least participated in pre-season with Elche.
Why the hell would a sane person sign RDT?

What a blessing. Valencia losing their main man last minute. We are losing an annoying problematic egotistical wildebeest. And receive more, ofcourse due to contract length etc. But getting this offer from Ajax who look for a rightwinger with high level European experience and that they came to us, is a gift from the heavens. And we all know he isn’t bad either, but he was at such a deep dead end. He just needs change for the better. So it might even work out for Ajax.

Ocampos off to Ajax for 20m, in comes free agent Januzaj, but as a stand-in for Tecatito (and/or Suso).
Then a shitstorm of names have come thru… Morata, Dolberg, Thuram, Tsygankov, in addition to RDT & Sadiq who’ve been recurring ones. And now i’m hearing of a possible 30m offer for En-Nesyri???

I like Dolberg out of those, Thuram sure. But we are still waiting on good wingers with depth and delivery? Or is that wat Tsygankov will provide. Anyway more action, more better.
