You think there is zero interested in top striker who’s free to pick up and has been rumoured repeatedly since 2 years.

Reports are often only rumors… so it might’ve been the other way around. I’d believe we were interested in him, but not enough to make an offer - the player waited for us and then changed his mind and went for the safest option. However, it makes a lot of sense that our shitty play and improper tactics will make even half-decent strikers look elsewhere.
Boye is still better than RDT at this point, but not better than Belotti for example. We are clearly lowering the standards and settling for less and less each time.
Is He? I’m not sure, RDT despite his manners and attitude is good class. Him not having had any preparation this summer and no form, is worrying tho. So yes maybe we have to accept Boye. After Alex Telles and Isco, very very Lope’s hand.
We might be in for some more Action if we can sell Ocampos to Ajax who are looking for replacements for Anthony their right winger. They are mad in the head, but he definitely needs a change in environment. If we can milk maybe 20m out of it (rumoured) we have to take it and renovate the squad some more these days. I don’t see many more opportunities or some crazy bottom premier League team with too much money.

Imagine selling Ocampos and using that money to buy RDT or Boye. Then we’re left without a potential left winger too. Why we’re not even remotely rumored to any LW from the world of football? Are we totally giving up that side of attacking? Talk about being extremely predictable in the build up play.
There’s so many things wrong with this approach, I don’t even want to spend my energy elaborating this crap further.

Rekik hasn’t trained with the squad today. I think at this rate, and considering both him and Nianzou’s liabilities vs. Almeria (both at fault for conceding the first and Rekik for the second) - we might as well need another CB!

Elche have reportedly refused our first offer for Boye. It was 10m Euros + 3m in variables I think.

I think small. Something will happen, our old well known rumour for example. Rangers is also on the verge of puking out Morelos who has some mental discipline issues. So if we want some dynamite to shake things up. He might be on discount.

Earlier reports today mentioned an offer for Fofana of Rennes for 27m Euros 
It was said to be a loan with an obligatory purchase option or something like that.

I’d sell YEN and Ocampos in a heartbeat - if that means getting a good winger, a CM/DM and a striker and/or a CB.
We still haven’t replaced Tecatito…
3 days until the end of the transfer window… a much needed change is trumpeted but not a single finger is lifted.

I’m all in for the Ocampos to Ajax rumor. I really like Ocampos as a player and I hope he can find his form again.

Let’s hope not. I think we’ll bring someone/a couple in and we may see a few moves the other way with Ocampos/YEN for instance.
That’s my hope anyway and is often the case with transfer deadline day, you get a lot of last minute deals so there’s time yet.

I mean, he’s free transfer. It’s another attacking mid without real pace exactly, and without preparation so it will take weeks again for him to be ready. That’s basically all we need to hear and we are on it. Is he too much of a player who has some nice games and doesn’t do much when the games are rough. Another characteristic we seem to love.
It’s a blessing if we can sell Ocampos. But let’s at least get a pacey proper winger.
And for striker we will probably raise the offer and go all out for either, Sadiq, RDT or Boye…
