Apparently weāre soon to launch a bid to sign Stade Rennais striker Gaetan Laborde. I donāt know much about him and if heās any good? According to this article heās been one of Franceās best strikers over the past two seasons, and has been a revelation in Ligue 1 for both Rennais and former side Montpellier.
Weāve also been linked with Alfredo Morelos but
no rush apparently and it could be a January move.

The last year has been bad for SFC injuries but he came with this one. Still, look at Diego Carlos.

Interesting one from Villareal, theyāve brought Mamadou Fall in from LAFC on loan for the season. LAFC regard him very highly, so itāll be interesting to see whether he gets any game time at La Ceramica.

This is never ending. There are 4-5 days until the end of the transfer window and we still need to get at least 1-2 reinforcements in order to even be remotely competitive this season. Bad planning is badā¦

What makes you say this? Not that itās reason to write him off, but i donāt like his scoring record at all.

Heās more of a fighter striker who sometimes creates chances out of thin air. RDT is an āelegantā player who will not get into physical battles in the box.
Plus as reported, RDT has not trained with the team in pre-season if I understood it correctly. He has either trained separately in private or something else was going on, but he refused to show up in the camp. Also he hasnāt even been on the bench for the first matches of Espanyol this season in La Liga.
P.S. Just checked - he has been on the bench ONLY for Espanyolās friendly against Lille but hasnāt featured.
Thereās a high risk of a āMarcaoā issue. What is guaranteed is that given that information, he totally lacks match fitness and proper preparation - so it will take him a long while to get settled and to get in a good form potentially, especially as Mir and YEN will also be in the mix.
Boye has done a regular pre-season, scored a goal and is active. Heāll be able to get in there and fight for a starting role, hopefully giving our pitiful strikers some motivation for a positive competition.

I donāt watch Benfica, but Yaremchuk looked alright at the Euros. Itās not the type of āillusionanteā signing I think Monchi is planning. I just feel random CF names are being thrown out there, like Icardi being offered to us. Like seriously? So our offense can stagnate even more?

With our miserable start to the season it is going to be hard to draw players here in the remaining window. Lopetegui has to go immediately. Salvage the remainder of the transfer window and season. Sad it has already come to this. I was hoping to have at least 4 points by now.

Maybe one thing we should have taken into account is how our image within Europe has just dropped towards negative and just general opinions.
You think about the impact of how free agents and rumoured players view us as a destination.
As a striker this doesnāt feel like the best place to come, so whatever Monchi on the phone or Lope in a conversation speak about to convince him. The guy is not stupid either and if you watch a couple of our games youād know better. And there are other more desirable destinations. Not many players thrive and the play is a rough rusted old machine lacking oil.
I think this might weigh more than we at first considered. To win the best players over. Our image has greyed out, worsened and less favourable.
