I liked both D.Soria and S.Rico. The only thing was that they were either in form and being rock solid, or out form and looked like amateurs. But at the time I blamed that on age. But Bono is doing a way more consistent job right now, so I don’t feel the need to get them back.
I’ll do my weekly Paulo Dybala prayers, every time I read something about us and him.

He would fit right in!
Sergi Roberto another rumor… nice!
Really? I have never thought he was that good, plus he’s another over 30.
He’s terrible… quite shocked that we’re even rumored with these kind of players.
Yeah, I wasn’t sure either about the amount of irony in there Shendm. But still, generally the names we are hearing compared to some time ago, have gone up big time. That being said, I’m no fan of Sergi Roberto.
Monchi also touched on this, some interview, talking about the change in direction of the market that they are looking at. There won’t be many Julio Baptistas or Dani Alves anymore. Which is unfortunate but that’s what the ‘ambition’ has done. They are looking for all these 30 aged players, all players they assume to be ready to play at top level. So these young diamonds, will be more and more rare. I think it’s also part of the beauty of football. But as I said, the business is changing.
It’s ok to look for the experienced players who can do the job. But Sergi Roberto is not one of them. We need to get linked up to much much better players if we want to do anything in that regard.
Would love someone of his quality, but something Tim Vickery said the other week kinda supports any doubts about him:

Juve fans feel the same about him more or less.
But his quality really is insane to me, which if you’re looking for an opportunity to add it, I think they won’t get much better than this. Also, he’s on a free transfer so no need to pay ´big money´ for him, so it will only be the Salary. And if you pay 6m for a half year for a Martial who came back from an injury, in good hope. That’s a bigger risk then this one, and we seem to be ready to do that one according to Monchi and Castro. About Argentina, there are plenty of players who don’t dwell well in that selection, not an argument for me either.
We wouldn’t have ever gotten Ever Banega either with that mentality. Risk as well, zero guarantee it would turn out like it did. But the class is undeniable, and one of the best footballers to ever play in the club in the end. And probably have to thank Unai Emery for that as well, without him, he wouldn´t joined either.
It’s always possible like that guy said, but it’s also Paulo Dybala man. If you say no to that, what are you gonna say yes to.
Would you take him at your club lol? making it seem like he´s Balotelli. He´s not, he´s 10 times better. Juve just messed up, and he turned his back on them, while still contributing to 19 goals so far. Any team of the not elite 5-6 teams, would try to get him as free transfer if they have the chance. Well even Liverpool should, but they maybe might prioritize En-Nesyri so what does that say.
Luis Alberto’s name is coming back up.
Read a rumour on Twitter that Martial could have his loan terminated early. Any truth on this ?
Some new names some old names I’ve seen coming around again.
Jeremiah St. Juste, another dutch centre back, from Mainz 05 in Germany. Hasn’t played a ton of games this year. Or througout his carreer at all. Not sure if this is related to vulnerability to injuries. But definitely prefer a centre back who has the experience to play 35 games a season. He was a decent talent in the youth teams of the Netherlands. I remember him from Feyenoord some time back. But can’t say much about his growth lately. Not the most convincing, but like Rekik could be a decent pick up but not good enough. We need to look for something that’s higher level in my opinion. (Good name tho)
Enzo Fernandez, 21, recently broke through in Argentina. Good box-to-box midfielder, with good contribution in goals and assists. This one gets me more hyped. But the competition again around him will be massive, just like Julian Alvarez.
Hirving ‘Chucky’ Lozano, rumoured to be on sale and we could be after him.
If Barca actually want to keep Luuk de Jong, how much € do you guys reckon we can get for him?
Won’t be much. 1 year contract, and won’t extend and has the desire to leave I imagine. Max 3m. I’d say. but probably around 2m or less.
Bono officially extended his contract with us until 2025! VAMOS!!!
Phenomenal !!! Did we do a Barca type 3 Billion dollar buyout? haha
If Granada and Levante relegate, there must be opportunity to get some quality role players on a cheap. Or maybe even a sneaky talent like how we got Sarabia when Getafe relegated. I just hope Monchi takes advantage of it, because I think mainly Levante has some players that could be of good use.
Yep… same goes for Cadiz. We were linked with and could snatch their now-captain, Espino (LB) from them. 100% better than Augustinsson and could help a lot as a sub for Acuna.
Morales of Levante turns 35 this July and it would probably not make much sense to get him, but I’d get him in a 1+1 contract if he’s up to it. He is emotionally quite attached to Levante as was seen tonight after the match ended… so he could choose to respect the contract that expires in June 2023.
