Christophe Galtier added to the rumor list for the new coach in case Lope leaves (

I really like that coach… he has done amazingly with Lille last season and although not so good with Nice this season, he still took them to the final of Coupe de France and is fighting for an European spot until the end with 1 more match to go in Ligue 1 - currently 6th, same points as Strasbourg in 5th.

All i’m saying is, it’s not a player that will be playing much as long as Lope is the Manager. He’s into a whole different category of players.
So yes, I believe he’s a good talent. But only if we get a manager that allows young players like this to flourish. Which if our current situation doesn’t change, is not the case.
If Galtier will be the new coach of Sevilla I suppose he will take Amine Gouri

This Fofana guy seems to be a combination of M’bia and N’Zonzi, only pacier. He would definitely be a decent addition to our midfield that is craving for a box-to-box dynamic midfielder.

Milik has been linked to Sevilla in seasons before. I think his loan to Marseille has a buy option that they could exercise. Contract with Napoli ends in 2023.

Repeating rumour since winter, Lucas Boyé. I remember Lope being his fan from the Elche press conference. If you want to link one and one. And if he’s our first buy this summer, we know what that means.
We apparently pay around 20m. Which I think is a lot, for someone scoring 14 goals for Elche in 2 years. Besides I don’t get the priority on the striker position here. My feeling, and read on our management says he’s gonna be our new striker.

Not really the typical Lopetegui striker at 5’ 10inches, but maybe the change of pace we need with a big Rafa Mir. We would be nuts to pay 20 million though. Elche just got him for a little over 3.

Ouch. That’s a bit harsh. He’s a good player, just can’t stay healthy. I don’t want to sell Kounde into La Liga though. Too good of a player to face twice a year.

If a 39 year old Dani Alves beats you to the RB starting spot in a team that is not the best Barca had in many many years… you’re right maybe ‘garbage’ is harsh but let’s say at least not good enough to start or be a serious sub for Navas in a top 4 team in La Liga.

Palhinha of Sporting rumored again… might be close. However, Seko Fofana is very good too.
I think with Gudelj most likely leaving and Fernando turning 35 in July plus coming out of a complicated ankle injury - we will need 2 DM’s at least regardless of whether we stay with Lope or not.
I’m trying not to be a homer here, but the guy had three assist in 1512 minutes. Sure he lost his spot, but you could argue that he never should have been in that position as a 21-year-old. Adding to his “position” loss was missing 75 days due to injuries/illness since December 1 or 13 matches.
He is a bit over his head in this league, but has huge potential and would push for Navas’ spot.
