The one and only offer arrived Wednesday 25th, it was short on money, bad timing and contained conditions of Chelsea selling a player.
Goes on to say Koundé can only leave by paying the clausula like any other player today.
Then says the clausula never went to €90m, it remained fixed at €80m.

Yep, so it means the deal won’t go through as Chelsea are not serious at all.
Anyway - it’d be foolish to think we’re all set without at least another CB… at the minimum least.

We officially have 3 recognized CBs, but i don’t think it’s a bad thing. When Carriço left, we didn’t replace him and the squad remained tight-knit. It’s tougher now cause of CL games, but there’s many options for a 4th choice CB.

Says PSG made offer for LDJ but Luuk didn’t want to go, consensus was to keep him because he’s very useful player.

They’re still working on exits for Amadou, Gnagnon & Pozo, who don’t have squad numbers. The final list for the CL squad will be interesting too. We’ll only have room for 22 or 23 (w/ Alfonso included) so 3 or 4 players will be excluded. I wonder who’ll be left out whether it’s Gudelj, Oliver, Munir or De Jong.
For now, it’s looking like Idrissi will get his chance.

I’m actually satisfied with our midfield and forwards now we keeping ocampos and de jong. We have enough options so sarabia or corona isn’t essential at this point.
It’s only the centre back position that we a little vulnerable. It’s obviously great news if kounde stays provided he comes back with right attitude but hopefully he will. It just a shame we can’t get that 4th centre back in. If we get that on top of the 6 great signings we made and kounde and rest of our main players stays it’s been a great window for us.

Sounds like he was disappointed in not completing several exits and that may be a reason he was not able to sign one or two more players.

To Amadou and Gnagnon, there are other leagues you can still go to.
Obviously the Metro article about a last chance for Chelsea was pure invention and click-bait.

There’s still time to make a signing. Botman is unlikely without Koundé leaving, so why not just sign Djené? That way we don’t have to play against him
