More great business. Now does Gudelj move?

the outgoing moves indeed are a bit worrying. I still suspect a few departures, but I feel like it won’t be a beautiful exit. We got ourselves many new (additional) big salaries and are basically forcing ourselves to clean house. And take whatever offers come, I’m fine with this as long as it happens. I don’t want 5 players earning millions being chearleaders this year.

atleast around de Jong there seems to be some movement from multiple clubs, the rest to no surprise not so much.

If the first piece of the domino doesn’t drop…

Kounde stays?

Yeah kounde might stay now. As Chelsea were saying that Zouma part was needed to help
push the kounde deal through. It would be great if we kept him another year. I still think monchi will want another centre back anyway as Gomez gone. One of Kamara, kabak or boateng would still be nice to add to the defence even if Kounde stays.

Either way we want Kounde to stay unless they offer 80 million which has not happened yet.

I think we did great with the 6 signings we made. I think monchi may still try for 1-2 more. Maybe sarabia and also kamara but we will see. Still either way it’s been a great transfer window especially if Kounde stays.

Plus we also need to focus on getting a few players out too.

Delaney can and has played CB in the past too. Not ideal, but an option.

Surely this can’t be true?

Lol… might as well give him for free! 50 million is insanely low, can’t be true.

With Delaney becoming official tonight, Kounde better stays and we’re all set!

I also don’t know much about Botman, but here’s what I do know.

Instrumental in Lille’s run to win Ligue Un last season, and he’s only 21. He’s also left footed.

According to Whoscored, his strengths are very similar.

He’s also 6’4, (1.93M) so I feel he possesses a good threat from set pieces.

I also read 50 + bonus… Which might mean that there are many more millions coming through very easy, but next year, as some easy targets are achieved by Kounde and / or Chelsea. It would help Chelsea with their liquidity if Zouma to West Ham deal is actually off and Sevilla doesn’t probably need the whole amount of the signing to be delivered now. This would be my guess if the news is finally confirmed.

But it seems bizarrely low, I agree with you guys.

BTW, I’m new here, I have just discovered your podcast and it still blows my mind that Sevilla got as known as to inspire people from all over the world to follow us like you guys do. I’ve been a season ticket holder at Biris Norte the three years we were in Segunda, so I’ve seen everything. I left Sevilla in 2005 though, so I actually missed all the fun, so to speak. But I’ve always followed the team closely, these days from Belgium.

I like them stats and he’s only 21 too which is good. Monchi and the scouts know what they doing. We have did great business this transfer window but we definitely need another centre back or 2. Even if Kounde stays I feel we need one more to join him, Carlos and Rekik and maybe 2 if kounde goes.

Maybe Delaney or one of the midfielders can help out a back but I’d prefer us to have another out and out centre back at least.

Yeah, it wouldn’t be my preference either… It’s quite hard to believe the numbers we’re reading though, I just thought it would explain them somehow.

True point maybe we set as it is especially if kounde stays. Still I feel one more will be good. We will see though.

I’m not sure on the Kounde situation now I think we all just want it resolved one way or another. I wonder if Kounde will be happy to stay at us another season or does he really want the Chelsea move? I feel we need more than 50 million euros though. Even if we can’t get 80 million but get 70 million euros that would do. Hopefully that report isn’t quite true and we holding out for more than that.

Yeah definitely bottom of the barrel stuff like.

The only ones that I liked a little from the above were Layun and Pizarro, but they would never cut it in the current team or any aspiring team that we’d ensemble.

I get the vibes that he is coming, just waiting on Kounde’s cash.

A Monchi signing. We had some failures with Monchi too, but Arias and Caparros were simply terrible at this and almost ruined everything that Monchi built since 2000.
