Summer 2021 Sevilla Transfer Rumours etc

I agree these clubs are crazy spending this type of money. It’s crazy these 2 players costing more than what Ronaldo did for Real at 80 million? The football world just gets crazier. There really needs to be more of a limit placed on this. Still I say it’s more fool these clubs for spending that much in the first place. No wonder all these top clubs want a super league as they basically throwing crazy money at players and getting into debt that’s all self inflicted lmao

Now that the season is gonna start soon, I still don’t get excited. The vibe around the club is kinda dull as the team lack names that would raise the spirit.

I remember the summer we had DC , Kounde and Ocampos. I couldn’t wait for the season to start. It was such a joy.

Plus I fear Lope is gonna use the same tactics which act as a hand break. Friendlies haven’t showed us any improvement on that department either.

Man are we jaded now? We for once haven’t lost a lot of people and added a top goalkeeper and a guy with a ton of potential. We finished forth in the league last year and only had Papu for half a season. Barcelona are in shambles, Real is suspect at best and we can’t get excited about that? I for one am super happy we haven’t made a ton of changes. Let’s go get after it!

Never underestimate Monchi, he’s probably got still more signings lined-up from here to midnight of the closure. I’ve got a theory that Lope believes he can finish top 2 this year but with an experienced side.

21 years old Boubacar Kamara is also on our radar, he is a little bit expensive I think, but his contract expires in 2022, so there is a chance. His value on transfermarkt is 37m. He can also play defensive midfielder.

There is a bunch lining up for sure, it’s just waiting for the first piece to start moving and it cascades.

Florenzi has played and has proven value for many top clubs. I’m okay with him, he’s versatile and hard working. We might trade him for Gudelj since he’s appreciated in Italy and have the same contract duration left.

AC Milan are closing on Alessandro Florenzi, negotiations at final stages - deal to be completed soon, loan + buy option.
Colinadenervion reports that we are really close to Argentine Gonzalo Montiel, fee 10m.

Montiel reportedly very close to signing. He has been a crucial part for Argentina on winning the Copa America and is an undisputed starter for River Plate - lastly having helped them reach the quarters of Copa Libertadores where they will face Atletico Mineiro of Brazil tomorrow (first leg) and the week after (second leg).

It would be a decent signing I believe. He’s a 24 year old energetic right full back who can tremendously help Navas for the next 3 seasons as the latter retires.

He’s the warrior type - reminds me of Reguilon a bit

Alright a younger player is welcome for sure, seems Montiel it is. I’m a fan of Argentines too. Although we reaching the limit soon

Btw Montiel is not fit he has a slight injury. Hope it’s not one of those cases where, missing the preseason, it dragging on and not getting back in the rythm for another half season.

Montiels position, country and toughness does remind me of Mercado.
If he has Reguilons attacking ability he would be very very good.

Very pleased with this signing considering ability, age and value. Thanks Mr. Monchi!

Next up, Ludwig Augustinsson, from Werder Bremen, 27 yo leftback, value about 9 m

Never heard of him before, but he has some experience in the Bundesliga, so for back up he must be good enough. Two full backs almost done deals - Montiel’s fee around 10m, Augustinsson around 5m, now we need to get a centre back as soon as possible.
