Summer 2021 Sevilla Transfer Rumours etc

He definitely has potential for 1-2 more seasons at the top level, but it would be a high risk to have him and Navas as the only RB options.

We got Montiel already so we are more or less covered right side. Dani Alves would be an extra insurance, which knowing Lope wouldn’t be a surprise.

Is Montiel official already?

Dani could cover for Navas as he could feature at RW sometimes when needed to replace Suso.

Yeah Montiel seems on his way, probably official in a few days.

True but we also have Lamela, who is getting the time he needs according to Monchi (so we are not rushing him) but in potential I prefer him over Suso. Especially how I saw Suso in preseason, looked really out of it to me, his touches so heavy, pace not there, fitness not there, it’s probably a combined reason which is why it’s the preseason I guess.

Yeah from what I’ve read Sevilla have reached a deal with River Plate for Montiel

I’m really excited for this deal to go through

I think this is the first deal of the summer that I’m really excited about. With Kounde’s situation, I tend to dread any Sevilla transfer news lately.

Agreed

I really hope that Kabak is not the “replacement” for Kounde. It would be a failure of biblical proportions.

Thomas Delaney the latest rumor on estadio deportivo.

Looks like Montiel is flying to Spain today.
Sounds Augustinsson fee was agreed at 5.5 and closing soon.
There is a rumor of Thomas Delaney to backup Fernando but I haven’t seen this confirmed.
Kamara seems like an option too but not sure if this is only if Kounde leaves.

Quick business lately. Apparently we have personal agreement with him, and offered 4m. To see what Dortmund responds with. Guy had some injuries too but, at the world cup was a good force for Denmark both in attack and defense. But is he a quality upgrade? No, in my opinion. Adds even more depth to the midfield and he will be usefull for sure.

Besides, we got a youngster back from Real Madrid, 20 year old centre mid, Xavi Sintes. See if we get to hear more from him in the future.

None sense Lord Gudelj is the best player to every grace a football pitch

BREAKING: Porto have reached an agreement to sell Jesús Corona to Sevilla for €12 million, per @pedromsepulveda. Corona will have to give up a percentage of his economic pass for the transfer to finalize.

Corona’s agent is in Porto to finalize the deal.

I like that. We’re making moves. If it is true, however, wouldn’t that mean we have a large number of right sided players? Suso, Lamela, Navas, Ocampos (he’s better on the right) Montiel, Pozo… etc.

No doubt that he’d be a great addition, but I’m curious to see if he can play on the left.

and also, do you know how reliable the source is. I don’t know if I’ve heard of the source before

After Montiel it doesn’t really make sense anymore. If this is true, we seem to be in a luxury position

And we will need to release some dead weight, we have like 10 wingers.

When it rains, it pours… what a difference a week makes.

Is this Monchi’s way of pressuring certain folk (Idrissi, Lopes) to seriously look elsewhere?

I feel like Idrissi should stay. He’s one of the few players we have who plays on the left. He’s not great, but still a decent backup. Lopes on the other hand needs to leave ASAP. He has no future with this club.

Give Idrissi one year to sort himself out

That chance might’ve been gone when he fled to Ajax. I don’t think Lope wants any of that.

Suso/Lamela on the right, and Ocampos/Tecatito on the left. Not a bad quartet. The attack just needs to click.
