Sevilla FC 2026 Summer Transfer Window

I feel like Nema was arguably the most Sevillista of all extranjeros since Rakitic.

Off topic but a quick honest question for @twointum

I’ve been in Vegas for a week for an accounting conference.

Question: how the hell do you live in this massive heat outside?

We have hot summers here in Kosovo often 38+ degrees celsius, but I can’t even breathe properly outside in Vegas. Probably the lack of humidity… but damn!

And I’ve been to Phoenix in 2019… walked long distances during the day without a problem.

We will lose Nianzou next year on a free. Not even Saudi Arabia 2 years ago would go for him, and when he leaves we will be able to do a lot more business.

Sevilla are closing in on deal to sign Arouna Sangante from Le Havre on a 5 year contract. This is via Fabrizio Romano. Therefore, this is reliable.

Another very good signing as this guy talented and been chased by a few clubs. He plays centre back and we definitely need an upgrade there.

Guys this is mad but you know what I’m liking what I seeing. Last summer with left things to late but we getting on with business early. Even without money I’m liking these signings and we still attracting players to come.

This signing I can applaud more. Young player with much potential and a long contract.

Scored some big goals for us. His speech from the bus will go down in Sevilla folklore for sure.

Comments from our new sporting director on the potential signing of Patrick Mercado.

“Regarding the preliminary agreement for the arrival of Patrick Mercado, he pointed out that “pending official confirmation, he is still not a Sevilla player. For it to happen, a series of conditions must be met and we will see when the time comes.”

I think this is a great signing. I imagine the coming season will also be a relegation dogfight and with this guy, he could very much have a hand in deciding that. Could be there for a very long time and as a free transfer its good work from everyone involved to convince him to join us for the next season.

Rafa Mir has been found guilty and sentenced to 8 and a half years in prison. He had a year left of his Sevilla contract so that gets his salary off the books. What a stupid way to destroy your career. I’ll never understand why these young guys like Mir, Partey and Santi Mina, who due to their status and wealth wouldn’t be short of women interested in them have to act that way. At least his victims have some kind of closure. Here’s Sevilla’s official statement:
**
On the ruling of the Provincial Court of Valencia regarding Rafa Mir**

The club, in light of the judgment issued by Section Four of the Provincial Court of Valencia in which footballer Rafa Mir—currently on loan at Elche CF until June 30—is sentenced to eight and a half years, states its utmost respect for judicial proceedings and expresses our firm and unequivocal condemnation of any type of violence, abuse, or sexual assault.

Such conduct has no place in our society or in the values promoted by sport.

Fuck that dude. I will be very happy to get him off the books.

I imagine he’ll forfeit the rest of his contract given he’s been convicted?

May he never darken our door again!

A standard contract contains clauses penalising a player for “conduct bringing the club into disrepute.” A conviction for rape is as blatant a violation of that as you’ll get short of committing a murder. Clubs can also terminate for breach of contract if the player is unable to fulfil their contract through their own fault (such as, for example, being jailed for rape.)

I assume Mir will appeal the decision, which may postpone his incarceration for the rest of his contract, but Sevilla will have very strong grounds for termination even if he does.

That’ll potentially be approx €2 million freed up according to Capology

Like what Jose Mourinho said

“Study hard, become doctor, engineer or a teacher. They are the one world needs. Dont idolize footballer, some of them are pure trash” - José Mourinho

Pro athlete in general are less educated and some of them are not much better than animals.

Still remember Quincy Promes smuggling over 1 tons of cocaine and sentence for like 6 years.

At this point, just about anything is better than Nianzou and Marcao. Still he was club captain and young so would be very welcome.

As for Rafa Mir screw that dude, he should’ve been arrested for being shit at football anyway, but then you’d have to arrest half the current squad and Ferran Torres after last night.

Did anyone know that we already signed Juan Iglesias and Jon Guridi (before Sangante)?

Haha, indeed. Everyone is so focused on the World Cup that it’s easy to miss these signings, but yes, I did spot those on SFC socials.
