Juanlu on his way to Bournemouth. So freaking tired of us losing every player for pennies. They better pay good for him. I guess Carmona, Isaac or Kike Salas is next in line to get sold. Impossible to find players to get a connection to at Sevilla when they keep Selling Them…

No word about Sevilla accepting an offer; only that Juanlu has accepted contract terms. Seems very similar to last year’s deal with Napoli. I think Juanlu needs a break from from Sevilla to continue to grow. Hopefully we get a decent amount.

If Juanlu leaves that gives the club some money to buy a striker & midfielder.
I know it sucks to lose a Cantera, but getting some money for him now seems way better than not in a year or so..
Hopefully between Carmona & Iglesias, they’ll have the right flank covered

Apparantly the offer for Juanlu is €13m. Fucking hell we are cheap man. Ridiculous Price. He should at least be sold for €25m in this market.
So so tired of us Selling cheap every goddamn time. First Adams and now Juanlu.

While I agree. The fee is reportedly only 13m. That won’t buy you 2 players in this market unless its worse quality.

The issue is everyone in World football knows we are still screwed financially at the moment, and so are able to take the mick with underselling us, and we aren’t in a position to refuse any sort of income at this point.
If the board hadn’t played silly buggers for the last 8 months and actually accepted a deal to sell the club then maybe we wouldn’t be in this position. It is always sad to see a Cantera go let’s be honest… Over the years we have seen it with Jesus Navas, Sergio Ramos, Diego Capel, Alberto Moreno etc… It is natural, and Juanlu is certainly not on their level, but until the boardroom situation is sorted and the club get some sort of fresh injection of cash or at least impetus this is how it is going to be sadly.
We are actually a huge club, and attractive to players and investors under the right conditions, however the club is being kept in the dark somewhat by people only interested in lining their own pockets and meeting their own agendas.
We will go into the season with whatever squad we manage to build… It may not be pretty, and it might see some really tough, horrible results coming our way, but I will continue to love and support this club and just hope one day very soon, this whole drama gets sorted and we can begin to flourish again.

But when does it end? Because I completely agree. We are a massive club. We should be on level with Atletico Madrid. At what point do we actually get our of this misery?
i get that Selling is important. Its not that Juanlu cannot be sold, but 11m?! Seriously? That won’t even give us a competent starter. If Juanlu was sold for what he is actually worth in toddys market, which should be a lot closer to 30m, then I would maybe be ok with it. But Selling cheap means you prepare for another season of relegation battle.

Normally these players go for 30-35m.
I think this club has to go on auction to actually come back to former greatness. We are the only club Selling key players for peanuts. Not even Levante does this.

I’m afraid if they didn’t sell to Ramos or Lappi they likely have no interest selling for ages yet.
We stuck in purgatory as we continue to struggle on under this board regime.
The issue is there are too many shareholders involved in Sevilla FC and getting them all to agree to sell is very difficult. There are like 5 shareholder families and the Americans too.

Losing Juanlu is still £11 million pure profit, that’s partly why they’re selling off cantera players. There’s no amortised transfer fees to deduct from the transfer income, so 100% goes into the bank.
It sucks losing young players, but when you need to balance the books, youth players are pure profit.

Juanlu for just 11m + 2m add-ons is spiteful. Napoli were willing to pay 25m last season but that was before everyone knew how screwed Sevilla was.
Still he hasn’t really played as well as we’d hoped so a change would be good for him. It also gives a vote of confidence to Carmona so hopefully he can come to good.
As mentioned selling cantera is pure profit but I don’t think Salas and Issac will be sold as they are important first team players. Castrin though was rumored for a switch to Serie A as well but news seems to have died down. If he can fetch anywhere from 6-10m I’d say it’s good business.

Sevilla have signed goalkeeper Fran Gonzalez from Real Madrid for €1 million + variables for 50% of his rights. There are a number of buyback clauses included over the next 3 windows ranging from €3 - 5 million according to Goal.
