We have to pray these new signings help us out and better than we got. It hurts losing bade and Lukebakio. Idumbo left which is a shame too. Our 2 best players last season and decent young talent. Vargas and Juanlu could still leave too.
Let’s hope we don’t lose anyone else who decent like Vargas or Juanlu.

Overall not excited by most of the signings. Cardosa was a Porto reject so doesn’t inspire confidence. Azpil has great experience but he very old and injury prone now so not totally confident.
Mendy is a good signing in midfield so hopefully that helps. We signed Sanchez up front and he 36 and been a journeyman for a while.
We will see what else happens but if honest so far only 1 out of those 4 excite me. I guess we can’t expect a lot as they were all either on a free or loan. We got no money so haven’t spent anything on them.
We got to sit and hope now.

If we sign Amrabat along with Mendy, that will be a better midfield than last season, at least on paper.
However, we’re still poor on wings quality. Alfon and Vargas so far… that’s it. Not counting on ex-player Alexis… not sure why he even came to be honest.
Rumors are Alexis was Almeyda’s personal request… we’ll never know if it’s true unless Almeyda says so himself.
But anyway… CB is also poor.
So if we count on the midfield 100%, barring any injuries where Gudelj will be forced to be a starter again… it’s a risky bet at this point.
If we replace Dodi with Ziyech that’s crap, but still better than not replacing Dodi at all.
Juanly is almost totally disassociated with the team. Plays without heart.. his head is somewhere else. Probably best to let him go to Napoli.
Finally… if 20-22m is true for Dodi… that’s a steal for Benfica. Pathetic business from Corny…

Alfon has only played 1 game so far, and Vargas hasn’t convinced me that he can stay fit. I’m still not sold on those two being our starting wingers. And with Ejuke, Januzaj & Peque as the supporting cast? 
We need Amrabat, and a replacement for Lukebakio.

I like the fact they’re stocking up on midfield destroyers, you can never have enough of these and they can probably play CB in emergencies.
Ziyech is alright, he deemed himself too good for us when leaving Ajax and now we can see if he still has anything going for him. Less convinced about Sanchez and the role he’ll play, might be striker or attacking midfield with Issac on the wings. Anyone know if it’s a one year deal or anything?
Pedrosa gone means there is space for a backup leftback, any chance of a Reguilon reunion? Juan Bernat is also available on a free.

I seen that too. If no more exits then we stuck with what we got which isn’t ideal.
As it stands like Azpil, cardosa, Mendy, Alex Sánchez to add to what we had before.
I fear it not enough. There is still some hours left so let’s see.
