Sevilla FC 2025 Transfer Rumors

How dare you omit the GOAT Januzaj, he will play when he wants to.

I think Peque can play there in stretches, and maybe stick Iheanacho there for his speed, he managed to score 1 goal in the championship, shows how much he sucks.

We lose one young Congolese :congo_kinshasa: player in Idumbo, only to potentially sign another in Molebe — 17yo striker from Lyon. Lord willin. :folded_hands:

Batista Mendy signing reported to be a 1 million Euros season-long fee with a purchase option for 7 million.

Not bad for that kind of player.

Also added to the CB rumor list and considered almost a done deal, not Gigot but rather Fabio Cardoso of Porto.

Joke business with the striker position. Can’t count short term on the young striker.

We’re left with an injury prone Adams and an out of form Isaac… who may gain some momentum but it will take a miracle for him to perform like 2 seasons ago, when he last resembled a professional striker.

Let’s see if the midfield and CB will be taken a bit more seriously.

Wings too…

Vargas can remain here if a deal with Villarreal is not reached for his departure.

Pedrosa very close to joining Elche (loan with a buying option).

The final day plan seems to be:

  1. Dodi to Nottingham for 30-35m

  2. Vargas stays as Villarreal are not meeting the $ needs

  3. Below average CB who can’t even make it at Porto, 31 year old Fabio Cardoso comes in to replace Bade. No more CB’s so we’re left with Salas, Castrin, Gudelj and Azpi as potential CB jokers, Marcao and Nianzou. RIP defense

  4. Batista Mendy (DM) for 1m loan and 7m buying option. This is still not official and could collapse last moment, leaving us with a pathetically fragile midfield. Even if he comes, we still need 1 more that can play with the ball well. Saul won’t be replaced, neither Sambi.

  5. No wingers coming in. So no replacement for Dodi and Idumbo. Leaving us with tragic player Ejuke, Alfon and Vargas… and Januzaj of course

  6. Still nothing official on Juanlu. Last match he played with his mind elsewhere and did very little.

  7. Pedrosa is leaving, but nothing official yet. Iheanacho is not registered but not sure if he’ll leave.

Still terrible planning, and even with the limited resources I think another more serious sportive director would’ve done a much better job, and much earlier on. Things always get harder as deadlines approach.

This season’s squad will be worse than the last one, confirmed.

Segunda, here we go!

Batista Mendy arrived in Sevilla.

Will undergo a medical and sign tomorrow most likely.

Finally, a breath of fresh air in midfield.

Still another midfielder needed… Amir Richardson’s profile would’ve been nice.

Newest rumor, Sofyan Amrabat. Don’t know the reliability of the source, or if he is still good, but he was fantastic a couple years ago with Morocco in the WC

I just don’t know what happens with the forward line. I’m pretty sure Lukebakio is gone tmrw. Villarreal is making one more offer for Vargas, and it leaves us very bare in attack.

Cordón has moved in silence for most of the window, so he better have something lined up. :folded_hands:

Also rumors of Alexis Sanchez, pending the departure of others

Lots of winger rumors, I don’t like this.

We seem to be linked with a totally washed up players like Ziyech, Alexis… they won’t care a lot and will jog rather than run on the pitch.

I think it will be one of the cases where a ton of names are thrown, only for us not to sign anyone.

Amrabat would be a decent addition though - I’m reading a season long loan but not sure if there’s a buy option or not.

Amrabat is difficult cause the signing fee would be too high, so it’s likely to be a dry loan (your favourite @ShendM). Salary might be another hurdle, but his quality his badly needed in this midfield.

This can’t be right… Right? 2 goals in the last 2 years.

I’m hoping that’s just agent talk — the ol’ “link him to Sevilla” trick. How much better is he than Iheanacho & Isaac? It gives me Chicharito vibes.

Big time. Immediate thought I had.

Big day tomorrow, lads. Rest up, as your nerves will be tested.

Here we go, as they say

Not super thrilled about the Alexis Sanchez rumor, but given that it’s our lot in life to suffer as Sevilla fans…or at least lately…I decided to put on my big boy pants and face reality that he may be our reality for 2025/26. Here are what the numbers say from last few seasons…with the caveat that I am certain we aren’t getting Inter Milan Alexis Sanchez, but hopefully he’s fully recovered from last season’s injury.

2021/22 Season
In his final season at Inter Milan before moving to Marseille, Alexis Sanchez posted a very efficient goalscoring rate, superior to Sevilla’s top three scorers.

Player Club Goals Minutes Played Goals per 90 mins
Alexis Sanchez Inter Milan 9 1347 0.60
Rafa Mir Sevilla 13 2697 0.43
Érik Lamela Sevilla 7 1618 0.39
Lucas Ocampos Sevilla 9 3422 0.24

2022/23 Season
During his prolific season at Marseille, Sanchez’s goal rate was high, but it was surpassed by Sevilla’s top scorer, Youssef En-Nesyri, who had a breakout season.

Player Club Goals Minutes Played Goals per 90 mins
Alexis Sanchez Marseille 18 3419 0.47
Youssef En-Nesyri Sevilla 18 2880 0.56
Rafa Mir Sevilla 8 1855 0.39
Érik Lamela Sevilla 8 2375 0.30

2023/24 Season
Upon returning to Inter, Sanchez’s role and output diminished. Meanwhile, En-Nesyri continued to be Sevilla’s clear top threat, maintaining his high scoring rate.

Player Club Goals Minutes Played Goals per 90 mins
Alexis Sanchez Inter Milan 4 1083 0.33
Youssef En-Nesyri Sevilla 20 3243 0.55
Dodi Lukebakio Sevilla 6 1852 0.29
Lucas Ocampos Sevilla 5 3181 0.14

2024/25 Season
In the current season with Udinese, Sanchez is still seeking his first goal. Sevilla’s attack shows a more balanced contribution, with newcomer Isaac Romero posting a very efficient goal rate in his minutes played.

Player Club Goals Minutes Played Goals per 90 mins
Alexis Sanchez Udinese 0 479 0.00
Isaac Romero Sevilla 6 1200 0.45
Dodi Lukebakio Sevilla 11 3102 0.32
Youssef En-Nesyri Sevilla 9 2650 0.31
