Sevilla FC 2025 Transfer Rumors

Sometimes you need players like him more for the impact on the locker room than on the pitch.

However, I still like to think that he would do better than Ramos here and he’s some type of Dani Carvajal… lol

I really hate losing Idumbo; however, he could be another Bryan Gil type player. Sold too soon to a bigger club where he never really gets a shot, and then bounces around on loans forever.

That is a good point and he was a quality player especially at Chelsea. He would help in locker room and the minutes he does play. We will see.

We desperately need a defender and he’s better than any of ours. In our situation we can’t be fussy.

Idumbo for 10m, sigh. At least he’s joining Monaco which is looking like an exciting team. Definitely worth keeping an eye on their progress.

Vargas would be a loss too but if Villarreal are willing to splash the cash after selling Pino then 15m would be good business as we bought him for 2.5m. He’s also 27 which means his value is near its peak. Bite their hand off if the offer comes.

I’m torn on this issue but if the squad remains more or less the same come deadline day it might not be in Sevilla’s hands as to whether they remain in La Liga, the coming games against supposed relegation candidates would show where Sevilla stand in terms of squad strength. The only thing I want is for the corrupt board to sod off.

Azp, he brings bags of experience but if he ends up fighting for physio beds with Marcao and Nianzou that would be unbearable.

A few others floating around are Kurt Zouma, Victor Lindelof, Jason Denayer, Chancel Mbemba, Ruben Semedo and a 39 year old Raul Albiol. Well at least I can finally see Albiol in a Sevilla shirt if he comes.

I agree however also we have a lot of useless/constantly injured players on our books that we cannot get rid of as well as a desperate financial situation with no money and no way to get money in. All of the TV money is going to Real and Barca and the only clubs not having a difficult time under these corrupt rules are Real (Surprise) and Atletico. Currently the CBs we have are Gudelj, Salas and Castrin. We also have Nianzou and Marcao but realistically theres no actual game time for them this season as they will get injury after injury. I think Suazo, Odyseass and Alfon are good signing but nowhere near good enough and how can we be expected to survive literally without any out and out, experienced CBs? Best thing to do is to plan for relegation and then MAYBE we can come straight back up.

Marcao did do the extension, which allowed for the registration of the two players. We still can’t register the Greek yet.

César Azpilicueta has arrived in Sevilla. Medical and contract signing to follow.

Fabrizio has confirmed it so you know it’s true. Good signing I reckon. Should help us out in defence and his experience will be vital.

He’s much better than what we have even if he declined and old. If he stays fit he will improve us.
Vamos!

I really like this signing. Veteran leadership, has a stacked trophy closet winning leagues, and European championships. Let’s hope he stays healthy and can spread that Veteran knowledge throughout the rest of the team. Plus he’s right footed. Anyone know the contract terms?

Hopefully he can help, used to sign him outright from Osasuna in football manager so this transfer is 16 years too late. Still need at least one more centre back so we’ll see what corndog can pull from his hat.

Marcao doing something decent in lowering his wage though this means he gets to stay around for one more year. I read Nianzou was offered something similar but refused, nothing official though so could be just made up by the press.

Reported by multiple outlets, so I think it’s correct.

Azpi coming in a great boost. But what are the odds he plays 25+ matches? Not sure how well he plays at fullback these days, but his versatility is much needed too.

One more CB would be perfect, and someone in midfield that can pass the ball. For example, Eriksen is still on a free, and if he’s able to play more than Suso did last season, it would do wonders for our starving attackers.

A superb recruit, even at his age he will bring serenity and experience.

An agreement has been reached with Spanish international defender César Azpilicueta , who signs for one season with the option of another. The defender joins as a free agent having spent last season at Atlético de Madrid.

I didn’t realize he was without a club. We could use his deadball quality for sure. Would also like to see him have an Isco redemption arc after a disappointing time at ManU. The question is about the legs and health, right?

Yea i was surprised how much he extended his career, and even played in a deeper role at Utd.
