Woohoo and jump ahead of Poop Deportivo
The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree!
Appreciate the updates on our youth teams @SurreySevilla
I know some clubs don’t really take their academies, etc all that serious but I am glad that we do.
Sevilla Atletico come from behind to win 2-1
The new manager has the boys playing!
Sevilla Atletico lost 4-0 to Linares
Ok thanks, cause i’ve been wondering about Carmona. I thought him to be the better option for RB. I never liked Juanlu there, and it made sense when you said that he’s more of a forward player.
New manager has them playing mucho better
Huge victory!
Zarzana was brilliant from the highlights and that nacho quintana goal was gorgeous
Monchi has given a youth player a profesional contract with a release clause, of 30m. Might be one of the biggest prospects of the cantera but i’ve not seen his name much come by yet so quit big news. 16 year old, Iker Villar, offensive player not sure which position. But let’s hope he’s a gem. Would be awesome to see another top canterano.
Who is the new manager?
Why am i not surprised?
I’m a big believer that club crests & kits start to look better when a team is winning.
No idea why they are called Isleños. All I know is that the city is the birth place of Spain’s most famous flamenco singer José Monje Cruz, better known as Camarón de la Isla. (Cameron of the island)
There are a lot of marshes around San Fernando so maybe that’s something to do with it?
Good goal today!
It is some sort of an Island because it’s isolated from the mainland by a tidal river that flows back and forth through the bay of Cadiz and out through Sancti Petri.
San Fernando was called Isla Leon until the 1700’s
It’s obvious from the Sancti Petri end that a big river once flowed through there but the earthquakes have changed the topograhy and left a curiosity.
my interpretation of it isn’t so sound either, is the guy saying at one point? que nos esta depilando todo which would be something like it’s making everybody lose their hair but I don’t think i’m right on that one.
Is this the Manager or a staff member you know?
I understand it, though I had to rewind a couple of times, he’s basically saying we have to go for it, although they’re very strong we are better, just believe and do it, and enjoy it.
So in that context he’s saying the powerful rival is giving most clubs a haircut or shave but using the verb ‘depilar’ which is ‘hair removal’, although they don’t vocalize their words well in this area so he could be saying almost anything.
Yeah i could see the use of the verb figuratively like that indeed, but at the same time it didn´t sound like the best expression. So I assumed I misheard or there is something or a certain emphasis eaten up in the dialect and he maybe said something completely different which happens more often than I want to. Instead of the thing my brain tried to hear. Thanks for the explanation Tim.
