Monchi out - Orta In

If we don’t end up converting you into an Orta fan, hopefully at least we can bring you on as a new Leeds-based Sevilla FC fan!

There are just so many things wrong with that sentence, hard to know where to begin . . .

  • a supporter should ONLY have one love
  • one of your principle colours is red
  • the fact you think Orta will be successful

Your only hope is that his behaviour in the UK at the two clubs was borne out of being a foreigner in strange lands and he was out of his comfort zone.

You want to predict next summer’s signings?

Go check the wonderkids in FM 18, ha.

Orta is an absolute feckin clown that nearly ruined Leeds United, get rid of the fraud asap, he will ruin your club.

At least Orta is attracting disgruntled Leeds fans to the Sevilla fan club. Lots of extra traffic on the Forum from those sadistic chaps hoping to see a meltdown of epic proportions.

Might find more kindred spirits among Roma fans, our highly successful former sporting director “ruined” Roma, as well. Sevilla is unique and I guess is a special microclimate where sporting directors who fail elsewhere become spectacularly successful. Or at least, that’s still the hope with Orta. Not declaring victory yet, but so far, it’s hard to say Orta has done a bad job with the cards he was dealt

Early returns show us that Orta gave us possibly the best off season since we signed Kounde. I’m not concerned about sinking quite yet…

And so it begins . . .

Orta in the changing room . . . at the training ground . . . and now able to bring in a compliant manager of his choosing that he can buy players for from his extensive list of Football Manager 2018 wonderkids. Keep an eye on that slowly increasing wage bill. Enjoy.

No worries, mate. The wage bill is already sky-high. At the moment his signings are alright, more interested on how he sheds the deadwood, cutting two loose on deadline day did not look smart.

Need a new manager.

Marsch is still available.

Lucky old Sevilla.

Orta will make you feel like he is the second coming.

So . . . how’s life under Orta working out for you?

I think the problems predate Orta.

We’ve been bad for a few seasons now.

I think we are up on Leeds in the number of managers he’s gone through in a season. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Rumors are that Monchi will be leaving Aston Villa.

Rumours are gaining traction with Villa starting the season poorly. Monchi work has been so-so with Tielemans and Karama signing for free and some expensive misses.

Think he can take some time off before his next move.

Since I think it’s too early to judge the work of Corndog, I don’t think there’s room for Monchi in a role of sporting director. But I’d rather see him back with us than with any other club in Spain…

I would not welcome him back after the mess he left us in. His time at Sevilla is over.

As long as it’s the same people in the front office, there’s no way his return is even considered.

And out of respect for Cordón, i’d let him at least see out his contract.

I’d rather have cordon now too. He won’t be able to work under this board again either.

We got cordon and he did pretty decent in that summer transfer window with the few options he had available to him. Let’s see how we do going forward.

Don’t Forget the mess Monchi made in Roma. Roma fans absolutely hate him. Throwing every foul word they can.

Big team ain’t gonna go for Monchi now.
