On this performance you wouldnā€™t think we need to sack lope. The players are playing for him like they were against espanyol. Iā€™m really not sure what we should do at this point.

Iā€™d only sack him if we can get better but can we on who is available?

Long way to go in the game of course but win today and thatā€™s two wins in a row in the league and maybe the start of a turnaround. Winning at Villarreal would be a big statement.

A win today would move us mid-table with 7 points from 6 games and only 3 behind Villareal and not far from European places. In the circumstances thatā€™s not a disaster.

Donā€™t want to get ahead of myself though as Villareal could turn this round and of course, even if we win it doesnā€™t mask the many problems the club has that wonā€™t just go away.

Jesus Navas at right wing seems to be a good choice in the teams current state: An attacking option that isnā€™t afraid to run without the ball and he brings a bit of extra defensive experience and effort in defense.

Villarreal have got back in this and created a few chances but youā€™d expect a reaction from them.

We still look very dangerous going forward on the counter which I didnā€™t think Iā€™d be writing!!
