We won. And for me, thatās all that matters. It may not have been pretty but Suso did come on, and within minutes, we got the goal, (and Suso was the main reason that goal happened. His subs helped us keep the clean sheet as well. You can say Lopeās style requires a lot of luck, but luck is part of the game and sometimes we need it.

Yeah I agree not for that. You are correct that was luck and good finish by Mir. I mean more for making us tough to beat again without our first choice central pairing. I honestly feared the worst when I seen gudelj and rekik together but they played well and we managed the game well in the end.
Itās a reason why lope will probably keep his job for a long time yet. As he knows how to get these type of result to keep us in that top 4 position. As long as he does this then monchi and Castro will be over the moon with the situation. Even if the football is dire at times.

You donāt have to like Lope, but you canāt deny that heās been successful with us. Brought us to our highest point total last year, brought us to our sixth Europa league, and seems to have made us the fourth club in la liga.
As long as we win, thatās what matters for me. If we start dropping points left and right, thatās when we need to ask questions, but we arenāt doing that. 3rd in the league with a game in hand.

Yes nobody can deny the results. But you can only analyze the āhowā of these and the tactics. But thatās my opinion. I think Lope is a good guy besides that. Nothing against the man.

Augustinsson (Ludwig) played the 96 minutes so I think thatās another problem resolved,. DC and YEN return from here. KoundĆ© too I hope.

I think you make a good point. While we all happy with the results and I like lope too but I recognise he does need to be braver and more adventurous in games.
We have a lot of talent in this squad and I hope he utilises it more. That being said we have 17 points from 24 with a game in hand. We in a strong position going into the levante game.
I just want to see more pace and creativity in midfield really. I donāt think itās necessary to play all 3 of rakitic, fernando and Jordan together. Itās too negative and slow and aging trio
That said Iām lope in as always but just hope he learns a few things to improve us.

Yeah iām with you. I just think the boundary in between how we didnāt lose so many games this year where it had been too close for comfort that normally we lose but we got a result in the end has been so nihil. That itās no longer an argument speaking for the coach. This to me, is the moments that stand out in our games are not really positive play related. Too many moments had been so close to where adding a gram on the other side of the balance and we lost 5 games and the same people call Lope out.
I am really not a pessimistic or a doomer as a person, if people get that feeling here. My bad. But itās just my vision on current Sevilla.

I agree with everything you say. You definitely not doom monger you just speaking facts. I love all your thoughts like everyone elseās on here. Itās great to here different points of view.
We are happy with the results and league position but the tactics and performances still need a big improvement. Letās hope for better performance against Lille next. We will need it because we under pressure in the group now.
We all just want the best for the club and love all our thoughts to try improve us. Vamos sevilla!

The main thing is we got the result even if the performance wasnāt fully there. You canāt argue that the man has a very good knack of finding a way to win and that canāt just be down to luck.
Look at the table and we find ourselves in a very good position in 3rd place with a game in hand on Sociedad at the top, which if we win would put us level on points. Weāre very much in the mix at the top.
17 points from 8 games is an impressive return and I think everyone would have taken that.

Yeah which is why Iām lope in camp and always have been. Albeit itās not pretty sometimes and he has his faults the man knows how to manage games and get results.
We have a big game on Wednesday now and hope we can win to improve our hopes in the champions league group. Levante at home will be massive too as we play before our rivals and a win will put us top! Vamos!

Yes we definitely need a win on Wednesday. There are some very winnable games coming up in the league at home to Levante and Osasuna and away at Mallorca. Going into the big derby against :poop:, we could be in a very commanding position.
Iām probably in the Lope in camp as it stands but performances and style of football does need to be better, especially away from home.

How long is YEN away from a return? It says mid November on some sources but I hope itās sooner than that.
That sucks 
This could have an impact for the match vs. Lille but thereās no excuse whatsoever not to win that one.
