That’s the idea, that I was talking about, when we bought Acuña. Playing a double wingback on the left side. For relatively more control but with Marcos still having amazing forward pressure. Also it should give good space for Oscar to work with.

Our football has gotten me thinking about what’s happening with Balaidos, coz of the huge banners on the sides. So they are reforming the stadium, which is gonna be a costly matter looking at their plan.
They really can’t afford to play around the bottom with plans like this, and I think they deserve to be a Liga club. But it’s not going their way.

Massive win! One thing lope is awesome at is winning games like this. If he gets a lead he knows how to keep it. A big win and I didn’t expect it. It’s actually great to see our B team defence play well and keep a clean sheet.
A great goal by mir. Well taken and massive 3 points. This win gives us the chance to hit top spot now at home to levante at a 100% Sanchez pizjuan. Vamos sevilla. It’s not pretty but that win feels good.

There you go, Super Celta couldn’t upset el Sevilla with centre defence absent. That’s no vindication of the football but Lopetegui did some intelligent things during the game. If you have a compromised defence why not adopt a more attacking mentality for the game? Only Lope knows.

It’s weird feeling. Like if we go behind I feel we will struggle in any game to come back. If we go ahead however I feel we can beat anyone. The first goal is so crucial in literally any game we play right now and been the case under lope throughout his time here.

It’s nice to see them all play well together. We didn’t miss kounde/Carlos as much as I thought. It’s very heartening too as with the kounde rumours still circling it’s nice we have other options at centre back until we need to get another defender in.

Well the goal was pure luck again, and good anticipation of mir of course. And we didn’t create anything else. We put in a squad that held up, and pulled on the lucky end again eventho it could have really gone to Celta as well. Not something to be proud of, but we take those.

Yeah that’s why I’m still in the lope in camp. I mean it’s not always pretty but he’s a very good 2nd half manager. He does make changes and most of the time it works out well. We got a bit of luck but lope got it right now with the changes. Credit to him.

It’s crazy that we could hit top spot next week if we beat an average/poor levante at home and we not been vintage or great most of this season. It’s classic lope though and credit to him even if not always pretty and lucky at times.

You really can’t give credit to Lope for Suso, getting his shot double blocked falling out of heaven to Rafa. And deciding the game. While besides not having any options and getting away a few instances. Maybe my irony went unnoticed.
