Rayo are my surprise team of the season thus far.
Currently watching the Levanta/Granada game, Granada up 1-0.
Now if the pizza man would just hurry I would be even more relaxed lol.
A local place called Burke Street. They do NYC style pizza(Got the all meats one and some wings). Driver just called and told me and said he got lost so will be here later than expected.
I’m going to need him as a delivery driver to at least use GPS on his phone lol
Rayo are an exciting team to watch. They should have won today, had the chances but couldn’t take them. They’ll do okay. Celta definitely underachieving with their squad also, they’ll come good.
As for Levante, they look doomed at the moment. They’ve been very poor tonight and are getting well beat to a fast improving Granada side ever since they beat us!
Two ex Sevilla players featuring for Granada also, Bacca and Escudero.
Money talks obviously. Backwards move for me.
Yeah only in it for the money. Sad to see this. No guarantee it will work either. He has a mountain to climb turning them around!
Shame he is going just for the money. Hard task there as they are utter shit.
Lol agreed. They have been flirting with relegation for awhile now and even with this influx of capital, I think they will be again. Regardless of how much money they can throw at players…they still have to be willing to live in Newcastle and deal with their fans
He might have been let go soon at Villarreal so it might be a good time to jump. If he continues the shitty league play.
Yep. I reckon he jumped ship before Villarreal could sack him.
I don’t think Emery does it pure for the money, it really is an ambitious project to be part of could start a legacy for Newcastle. Imagine being a manager, and having basically the whole market of players to choose from to build your own team, “endless” possiblities. A team, that so far hasn’t been great and to you for possibly be the one to change all of that. Besides, the money is probably great.
It’s very interesting that Villarreal has more or less the same team and I really expected much more from them this season after the EL triumph in the last one. On paper they’re quite decent… not sure what happened though.
I think they spent more than any other Spanish team in the offseason if I heard that correctly.
behind Atletico, yes. and then its us.
All this Emery talk and it appears that he’s staying with Villarreal, how did this start, was it just a rumour?
Probably just a rumor
Any news on Navas? I’m sure he’ll miss the derby but does anyone have any idea how long he’ll be out?
That reporter teased it.
Dont’ think he ever confirmed the official transfer from Kounde. Only thing I’ve seen him confirm is that Kounde and Chelsea agreed on personal terms, which was true. So it was up to the clubs and then it became the drama series we know.
I find most ‘journalists’ to be way too full of themselves. That’s why the majority of the time, I don’t fully believe anything till it comes through offcials( I.e. team’s twitter, facebook, etc).
