I think this proves lopetegui is a much better la liga manager than Emery. Emery is good in Europe but in la liga I don’t rate him that much.
Agree with that. Emery had an outstanding record in Europe but league wise he was very mediocre. He didn’t do great at Arsenal either.

Mallorca involved in more late VAR drama. This time a red card given to a Cadiz player was overturned in controversial fashion. Mallorca then end up with their manager sent off and a player. Cadiz then go and grab a late equaliser from the penalty spot.

Real Sociedad beating Bilbao 1-0 and if they end up winning this one, they’re seriously in for the title fight too - which would make 4 of us.
No seriously. They have had a great run of results and could’ve easily beaten us in the h2h. I almost wrote them off after they lost to Barca 4-2 away, but they drew against Atletico and are beating the teams they should beat. Let’s see if their streak continues, but they seem to be a well organized and serious team this season.

La liga table is starting to take shape a bit. I feel la real will fade soon and us and the Madrid clubs will start to pull away from the rest. A 3 horse ahead with us trying to stop the Madrid clubs!
