Something to watch out from now on if we keep up with RM in the league - the referee “mistakes” like the one today with the non-existent penalty that was canceled by VAR. It was both out of the line (goal kick) and outside the box, surprisingly the VAR and ref decided to call it a free kick just outside the box.

This is a sign that we’re on RM’s radar and they want us out of sight, asap. If we keep scoring and playing decent football it won’t be that bad, but otherwise, if things are close and we’re playing for a tight result… we all know what happens if uncle Perez gives the clear!

The game was so strange* it raised suspicions. But I came to the conclusion it was just a random series of events because the referee had ample opportunity to punish Sevilla. The game left me feeling the Ref was just as dumb as a box of rocks basically.

But we are on the radar as we were earlier because of the game in hand.

Come to think about it, the la liga table is incredibly weird and slow to take form this season.

I agree on reading the game. It’s 90 minutes of intense concentration while the outfield players play on training and instinct :+1:

100% agree. I’m a keeper myself and unlike the other keepers on my team, I had been playing during the off-season. Despite these players being, “better”, I had been playing for 3 months while they hadn’t, I was better. This wore off soon enough because they eventually got match fit, but it’s definitely true that not playing can hurt you

Real Madrid slip up. Good news! It could have been a perfect night had they not cheated us. Still this shows all the top teams are vulnerable and the title race is gonna be very close this season.

Yes it shows our result at Mallorca isn’t such a bad one. We’re still very much in the thick of a title race!

I do accept our away form has to improve though. Osasuna on Sunday is going to be a tricky one for sure although I back us at home.

Should we be concerned about la real guys? Or more to the point should Barca be even more worried about them as this could impact the top 4?

I’m pleased for la real though. It’s nice to see more teams up there with us challenging the so called superleague trio.

Yes we should be wary definitely, another good win for them. No reason why they can’t challenge this year (at least for top 4) and I think quite a few teams will be saying that.

Hoping Levante can do us a favour!

They were close to beating us in our h2h match a few weeks ago, so yeah, we should definitely be worried about them. If we keep with the same dull away performances, we could soon lose track of them and other teams such as RM and Atletico and we would eventually compete with Barca and :poop: for top 4 lol.
