Don’t know if anyone mentioned this but Michel was recently dismissed from his duties with Getafe. The next game Getafe draw against Levante. Either way, they still sit at the bottom of the table with two points

Getafe’s new manager is Quique Sánchez Flores who has previously managed Getafe during January and February of 2015, when he resigned for personal reasons. Has managed a total of 15 previous clubs.
Probably better than Michel though.

Conflicted on the clasico result. In a way it’s good for us as it keeps Barca down and very much increases our top 3 hopes at the bare minimum.
Still I hoped for a draw as it would prevent real from knocking us off the top. We still level top albeit behind in goal difference.

Not yet. I wouldn’t mind us getting that game scheduled soon. We have most of our players fit right now and I feel they ripe for the taking. They nothing special right now under koeman.

I was listening to the Barca v R Madrid commentary on the car radio while making my way home from our game. I had to turn it off before half time as the Madrid love fest was making me feel quite ill.

In the long run soceidad beating atleti here is better for us. Of course it puts la real 3 points clear but for the title race it’s better for us. I still feel la real will fade in time but they going great at moment.
Not over yet though and atleti are good at late comebacks. Still it’s been tough going so far for them.

I don’t think I want to see that goalkeeper again. First Levante goal, nowhere near, he dived to his right which was the right direction (golf clap and thank the lord) but I can’t say he was in the zone of stopping the goal, AWOL basically.
The second Levante goal was his entirely, how can they give it to Morales? I suppose they give him an assist. Should have gone directly for the ball without the eye on the players around, honestly it was the pits. Later, a free kick hit the post and showed him lacking once again, nowhere near.
Not playing regular is not an excuse, you either have it or don’t.

Almost a perfect day for us. Just Real Madrid winning was a bit of knacker as a draw would have been best. Overall though we 5 clear of Barca and 2 clear of Atleti. Only a point behind la real with a game in hand. Us and Real Madrid in the boss positions so far in the title race. Let’s see what midweek brings.
