Real Madrid drop points. Fantastic day for us!

May be true, but we shouldn’t look towards any of them it only messes with your mind, same as all get agitated when they score lucky winners. Their results do not affect ours, unless they are against us, and that’s when we need to win. This should be the goal.

Celebrate our own victory tonight, regroup and focus on Wolfsburg.

For me this game against Espanyol meant a lot. Yet they really missed quality to make us struggle more. But we looked organized and up for the challenges and surprises that appeared in the game, as a team. This made me glad.

Get in Villarreal! Win our game in hand and we go level at the top!

We should win that game in hand as it’s only against small club Varcelona fc :stuck_out_tongue:

I agree you are absolutely right. We should just focus on ourselves. We take care of business and we stay in contention.

I just can’t never help myself. I’m like a child kicking every ball hoping the opponents keep Real Madrid, atleti and Barca out. I was doing it today to cheer on alaves and Villarreal even though it usually is mental torture and ends in heartbreak. Thankfully it went our way today.

I think we need to concentrate on ourselves but it’s important our rivals slip occasionally because it will only increase our belief that they vulnerable and that the title is a possibility.

I’m with you, when any team gets a lead against the big teams. My heart does an extra quick pump as well. But as you said, normally its just a useless emotion.

I just want us to focus on us. If we stoically continue this. They will start worrying, accumulating pressure and dropping more and more points. But needing others to drop points where they shouldn’t is not part of a winning mentality either. Which I want and hope to see us create.

I agree 100%. Yeah it gives an adrenaline rush and excitement but it’s not good to rely on other teams too much. Like you say though if we keep winning then the big 3 will become fearful of us and it will increase the pressure on their games by itself as well as when they play us.

It’s up to us to maintain consistency and prove we can enter a 4 horse race and break up this big 3 domination in la liga. When we do this we will get even more respect and the other big 3 will stop viewing us as just the arsenal of la liga which is what we trying to move from to the next level.

Could Ansu Fati be the next Messi for Barca?

Well they certainly are hoping he will be. Giving him the no.10 and new contract.

Looks like Rayo Vallecano just picked up a Pichichi for free.

And outside the transfer window ?

It’s a free transfer, date doesn’t matter. Contract with Galatasaray was terminated, he literally had no contract. anybody could have gotten him. Just credits to Rayo for picking him up and believing in the old quality, and they found away to strengthen their team. Without splashing cash like many.

They are playing really well. I’ve actually made a bit of loot betting on their recent matches. But they are still :poop:

Another article that provides a bit more details on the financials. Seems even with the big loss, the club isn’t in terrible shape thanks for some cash on hand and the CVC will basically wipe out any debts.
