LaLiga 2021-22 Season Thread

Yeah I agree. Which is way I think this postponement is a bad thing. I think with Barca current injuries and problems we could have won this game if played this weekend.

Haha yeah I know. I just think we should take any advantage we can get considering we haven’t beaten Barca at home or in la liga in years :stuck_out_tongue:

Friendly announced b/w Sevilla & Alavés this Thursday (Sept 9) behind closed doors. Should be shown via SFC TV, but as usual we’ll see on the day of how widely available the broadcast will be.

Format will be 2 x 60-minute halves.

I mentioned this in one of the last few podcasts, but here’s more proof that we’re gaining traction in the US. It’s surreal to see an article about us on the soccer front page on ESPN.

Sevilla are a LaLiga force, but to win it all, they’ve got to show they can beat the giants

Ahahah yes that’s funny. Probably nobody in Sevilla does mind his arrival at Barcelona. The only ones in pain and tears are the Barça fans themselves :joy:

Also during the presentation in Camp Nou, he kept the ball up for about 8 times and called it the day.

Without joking I do think he will do quite well. He played with the man who Barcelona revolves around at PSV before. And is a striker that will cause danger in moments when before they wouldn’t. Not sure what’s the exact plan and how much he will play but I can see him reach double figures.

Anybody else have an echo on their stream?

WTF is happening to Atletico Madrid, terrible first half performance, defence an absolute shambles. Espanyol are organized but it’s no excuse for Atletico’s errors. Second half Atletico goal looked good but VAR was in tantrum mode. Score remains 1-0 with goal by Raul De T.

Atletico winning mentality makes me super jealous of them. I hope we get that mentality one day or season.
