It’s a shame we might not have them players but in a way it’s not a big deal. Montiel isn’t a stater yet. Papu is in and out the team and we have a deep squad. It’s only Acura that’s the main worry. Still Ludwig our new signing will get his chance.
I’d rather play it so we don’t fall behind on matches. I also think Barca aren’t that great right now and we have a big chance to beat them with or without those 3 players. They may still be available as well because we might get permission to leave them out the Argentina games. It would be fair but either way we have the squad to cope. Plus I want to see Sevilla at home again with the fans and hopefully bigger crowd so will like it to go ahead.
I’m pretty sure Barca are missing a few players still through injury too. Looking at it with Barca injuries, problems, shaky performances and Koeman under pressure I feel it’s still a good time to play them. I watched Barca against Bilbao and Getafe and they weren’t good. In fact Getafe had more shots in that game than Barca did.
Like I said montiel and papu are less of a miss. Montiel hasn’t played yet as navas is still no1 right back and papu faces big competition with our stacked midfield that at times he would be on the bench anyway. Acuna is of course the big miss but it’s a chance for ludwig to show what he can do.
I feel if the la liga appeal is rejected then we also may see if we can get the players back early and miss the last qualifier on 9th September. If not though then we just play on. There’s a few other times in same boat so not just us but I feel with the squad we have now being without just 3 players, where 2 aren’t main staters yet isn’t the end of the world in my opinion.
Honestly guys. I just checked Barca’s forward position. They literally might not have a fit forward to face us. I’m hoping the match goes ahead. We will never get a better chance to beat them. I don’t think Sevilla or a lot of us realise this. They have fati, dembele, braithwaite, aguero all injured. Greizmann has left them and de Jong probably can’t play against us as he on loan. We’d be mad to not face them right now.
You guys might think differently but I say bring Barca on in that shape.
I think the Koundé tweet is expressing his disgust with Chelsea, they talked the talk but when it came to price they baulked, which effectively devalued Koundé. So I think his head and soul will be right here back in Sevilla.
According to RT, heavy gunfire, President arrested and frontiers closed. Poor old Monchi can’t have a week on the Nile without having to worry about his players.
We’ve actually been pretty lucky with some int’l players. Kounde’s straight red means he misses the following 2 games, and our Argentinians will play 1 game less after the Brazil debacle.
Just now learning RM & ATM will still play their games despite having players playing on Friday.
