La Liga 2023-24 Season Thread

I think it was the return of @TimSpence2 to the forums which messed up our juju.

Back to seeing Ramos in the starting lineup, woohoo!

I really feel sorry for Marcao. I would get crazy…

Yep. You can see the talent is there. Just so fragile those muscles.

The guy can’t catch a break. Shame as he’s a good defender when he’s not injured.

Unfortunately not reliable and we will have to bring someone else in the summer.

Back to seeing Ramos! :face_exhaling:

Not getting another DM (or CM that can run a lot) or CB could prove costly for us.

100% reliance on luck is like playing russian roulette, and that’s what Orta & co. did this transfer window.

Lol some one came up with the idea to declare Marcão handicapped and unable to play to terminate the contract. Because he has been unavailable for almost all our games last two year, and it can be seen as too repeating to justify the contract.

How sad it may be. This is abnormal. And we knew it was about to happen…

Since we signed Marcao, he has been unavailable due to injury for 60 of the 92 games the team has played so far.

Or rent him out to Medical Science

Morally tough day today. Do we root for :poop: to keep Cadiz beaten down, or are we confident enough in Sevilla to continue to win and take themselves up? Maybe Cadiz wins this one and then continues poor form after today?

No brainer for me.

:poop: win is what I want. The club staying up is more than important than our rivalry.

Either a tie or a :poop: loss for me! I believe in Sevilla!

:poop: 2-0 up as it stands so looking good.

Good that :poop: doing us a favour. I more confident we can do it ourselves after YEN and Isaac partnership but this helps ease the pressure on us.

Celta lose and Mallorca win. Most important result for us was Cadiz losing so even if we do lose tonight, the gap remains three points.

Sevilla took my $8 and made it $30. Just threw down the bet for the Valencia game. I am literally invested in this return to glory!

Tomáš Vaclík returns to Spain as he is joining Albacete in Segunda. Hoping, that we will not meet next season. Only CdR is allowed

That was a short MLS career.

New England gave him a contract but apparently coach of goalkeepers didn’t want him. They didn’t give him any chance and he literally played 0 games. I am just translating what Vaclík said in Czech media…

The kid that touched Ocampos’ butt was fined with 6000 Euros and prohibited from accessing the sports venues for 12 months.

Nice!
