Not meaning to be sour, just weird.
Very good result to move on from. Job (1/2) done. First half had some really good plays. Things looking better with Martial and Papu. Munir did well rotating and moving around space for Martial, maybe not so much on the ball, but he helped. Can’t wait to add Lamela and Tecatito tooo this.

It’s a decent first leg result, but the job is still not done.
Hopefully all is well with DC and we’ve had an injury scare for Martial in the first half too.

Professional second half performance in which we saw the game out comfortably. A good win on the whole and 3-1 puts us in a strong position going into the second leg where we should progress.
My only criticism is I thought we were a bit too conservative in the second half and could have gone for at least a fourth goal and properly put the tie to bed. 3-1 is still a potentially dangerous scoreline which they could overturn especially if Zagreb got an early goal. Overall I’m happy though.
