Wow is all I can say! I was on a downer after they equalised and before we know it, we’re 3-1 up with two goals in no time! A great counter attacking goal for the third and nicely placed finish from Martial who I’m pleased for getting his first goal.
A strange first half really, not that much happened and Zagreb did have one or two moments, especially the save they produced from Bono. But four goals!
Great entertainment even if we weren’t at our best. A few more in the second half will do nicely so we can breathe going into the second leg. A Lope game with all these goals flying in! What’s going on!?
The goals we have been owed all season. We finally have the personnel in the right places, and it didn’t take us to overplay the ball to get these chances. Lopetegui ball finally paying off?
