Winter 2021 Sevilla Transfer Rumors

Also Nesyri confirmed that he wanted to stay, how much this is worth is up in the air. But he seems to have set his mind on growing at Sevilla for now, playing CL and everything. Eventho they offered double his salary. Speaks for him

Shame Eibar aren’t getting anything for him. Good for us though.

Papau Gomez is a quality player, his playstyle isn’t too affected by age and he can wreck havoc if paired with Suso.

Atalanta play to his strengths with a 3-4-2-1 with him being part of the two behind the striker, thing is I don’t see Lope fielding this formation, so he would most likely be on the wing where his influence might be diminished.

Yeah it probably will, but it is just best for both at this point. Good Luck in San Sebastian to him, hope he succeeds honestly.

Papu almost confirmed as well. Class player, looking forward to how we can help us be more inventive and forward focussed instead of lateral. With an inform Suso as well. This could give all defenses big troubles.

Sadly Carlos Fernandez and Lope’s tactics don’t match, the former is not physically dominant like De Jong or fast and agile like YEN and the latter does not have space for a no.10. He will do well in Sociedad, I’ll be keeping an eye on him and how he links up with Oyarzabal and Portu, better fit than willian jose imo.

I reckon Fernandez was sold to make funds and team slot available for Gomez, 10m would be enough to let Atalanta approve his departure. Only thing is Suso and YEN are undroppable while Ocampos is a nailed on starter for reasons best known to lope. If he would try a 4-2-3-1 with Gomez in the hole I really think the team could rip holes in opposition defenses, just stop passing every ball to Navas. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

How will Ocampos like it when he gets benched? eeeek I’m afraid we might have some locker room issues ahead.

He will feel the pressure with other lads stepping up and maybe finally start to act normal. And get himself together. If not, he will still be a cry baby and get the shorter end of the stick anyway sinced if he doesn´t perform in the time he gets then we can atleast bench him since we have better options.

Hopefully this will get him to regain his form from last season. If not, if he keeps diving and being a crybaby, he is worth about 50m according to transfermarkt, just saying

Top clubs and their scouting systems aren´t blind. They have spotted from miles away, that Ocampos straight up performed quite little and his nasty traits take over. I have no doubt in that. He has been more on the ground moaning than playing football.

I predict, He will get offers back to the level of Wolverhampton like last year, for the rest of his carreer.

I already disliked his behaviour beforehand. But he really ruined it when he started giving off on our own players some weeks back. While he has done no positive contribution at all in those times either. Get out, I don´t want that in my team.

Papu official!

Cheers to all Sevillistas! Hopefully he’ll turn out to be a good addition.

Until 2024. Is that a little long for a player that turns 33 within a month?

I’m still not convinced of this signing, it’s too much of a short term addition. If we want to be challenging for the league title we need to invest into the future. I hope he proves me wrong though

I get what Nerd is saying though. It’s a risk at 33.

3 and a half. Not just three

Seriously, no doubt Papu is a great player, but a contract that will keep him until he’s 36 is surely too long.

I’d give him a 1+1 why not :stuck_out_tongue:

I mean… Navas is a club legend. There’s a difference between your most capped player of all time and some signing you’re making. Look at Buffon for example. He’s 42 and signing one year contract after one year contract, despite being the backup.

Fair enough
