Winter 2021 Sevilla Transfer Rumors

Funny that Diego Costa wants to leave Atletico Madrid, and he can but they apparently made an anti Real, Barça and Sevilla clause lol… He can go anywhere except those or he gets a ridicilous multi million fine which honestly the teams could pay for but they won´t since its like a ridiculous 25m.

I just found it funny but never in my life do I hope to have this disgusting rat of a player in the team im cheering for.

He actually calmed down in recent seasons, but still, one can never forget how disgusting he played before. Fazio knew how to deal with that bastard lol.

No way he is better than our current options. He is old and broken and lost his edge.

In light of the Costa rumor I figured a Gif was needed:

It’s the Sun so yeah probably not, but still: Arteta hopes £32m Sevilla midfielder Joan Jordan can rescue Arsenal's season

So you don’t have to give those assholes clicks, it says that Arsenal are interested in purchasing Jordan and we are willing to accept around 32 million pounds even though his buy out is over 50 million pounds

Isco to Sevilla?

Isco is a really great player, but where would he play in this Sevilla formation?

It would complicate things for sure with Oscar and Torres being similar players.

Isco sounds exciting but would he have a position to thrive in the current setup? Also need to be wary of his wages and not having played regular football since forever - Rodriguez and Bale’s loans have been pretty rocky with niggling injuries here and there.

Not asking for much this window, the club is probably spent and I don’t think a lot of clubs are looking to sell. Same list as always for me - a right back with potential to step up to the first team and something I’ve continuously been asking for - a midfielder who can play as DM as well as give a physical presence; my preferred options Coquelin and Kondogbia were quickly signed by Villarreal and At. Madrid, next on the list was Capoue and Emery is keen on him too. Not many other names I can come up with but someone to help Fernando out and keep Gudelj limited to 15 minute cameos would go a long way.

Yeah he actually performed really well in that last match filling in for Navas. I don’t really see us having a need to buy until we sell. GK, LB (Escudero out until at least mid-feb)

I’m cool with that as well, he’s performed well in limited minutes, just hope he gets registered back in the CL squad as you really don’t know when he’ll be called up.

My intended meaning was to have a young RB ready to step up in the future. Navas is 34 and Vidal close to 30 and I don’t think there’s anyone in the youth teams who can make it to the first team. Not a priority for this window so can wait till the summer.

Man Utd sniffing around Kounde according to a few reports

Diego Costa leaving Atletico for ‘personal reasons’ according to some sources, thrown out for his ‘toxic presence’ in the dressing room according to others.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

I have a feeling that it was the purchase of Luis Suarez that did it, but it’s just a gut feeling.

In other news, Granada 1 Valencia 2, er no, that was just the red cards, Granada won 2-1.

Interesting but maybe the guy might be on our radar I read on Eldesmarque

Same. I’m thinking Monchi will shed a bit of the squad to accommodate more spots. I only see Vazquez & Gnagnon leaving. I don’t think any new arrivals are coming this time.

Agreed on Vidal for the CL spot. He deserves it more than Rekik and we don’t need more than 3 CB’s registered as both Gudelj and Fernando can cover for the CB spot if needed, but it’s going to be much harder to cover for the full back spots, which Vidal can do - and judging by his last game, he is improving and if he keeps it up like that there’s no need for a full back in January, it can wait until summer.

What we need is a goalkeeper (urgently, hopefully it’ll be Dmitrovic) and a LB as I don’t expect Escudero to make a 100% comeback until at least mid-March or so (although he’ll recover mid-feb, it will take a while to adapt as that was a nasty injury and it will take a lot of confidence out of him, 2 similar injuries within a year is too much).

I’d also prefer a proper DM to cover for Fernando as I don’t trust Gudelj but let’s see.

The window started on 2/1 and no names have been floated, possible no-show from the major clubs in Europe.

Some players who Sevilla were previously interested in are available for transfer/loan, namely Marcos Alonso, Isco and Draxler.

Morales has reportedly refused a contract renewal with Levante and can be sold on the January window too. He’s 33 and will turn 34 in July. Would going for him make sense? Perhaps a 1+1 (optional for the club) contract?

I have always been a fan of him, watching his games. He has good technique.

I keep saying that:Why don’t we go for veteran strikers who has been playing in La Liga for years? They keep scoring having not so brilliant teammates, so they would do more playing alongside quality players.

Would Dimitrovic settle for a bench role here? Bono has been exceptional so Dimi would only see the pitch in CDR matches. Just want to avoid a Romero situation.

I’ve had the same thoughts and was excited when we got Aspas, sadly he only plays like a wizard in Celta colors, guess some players perform better in mid-table sides, De La Pena comes to mind.

Conti from Milan is being floated again, guess there really are no names to be found.
