We suffered tremendously at the beginning of both halves. But after that, they ran out of ideas, and our solid defence continued to keep everything out.
And for Carlos to still play amazing even after conceding a penalty and getting an early yellow, says everything about the player he is. It wasn’t Kounde’s best game — Martial tore him apart! — but Bounou had our backs tonight. What a performance!

I must admitted that Manchester United attackers have more individual qualities than ours especially when Ocampos has an injuried right leg. And Pogba is world class on his good day that our midfield cannot stop him. Their midfield and attackers are very quick and strong which i think is a major factor we are so passive in this match.
But the thing that set both teams apart are really fighting spirit and team coherence, well also the coach. In last 15 mins united just seems out of gas or don’t know what to do, doesn’t even bother to run when 1 goal down. I reckon we could be humiliated if United are leading by a good coach, like Conte. 
Congrats to the team and hope they rest well.

Bono is the star of the game, we should definitely keep him as number one keeper. He proved his ability.
Ocampos is the lifeblood of this team, I love his ability to hide the ball. Munir tried to do what he did after getting in the game but lost the ball easily.
These two games against premier league teams showed that fast and athletic players cause a lot of problems to our defense. La Liga teams are no way that fast in counter attacking. This must be dealt with if we want to be a contender in CL.
All in all it’s great to be in the final yet again. I hope the team has some stamina left to fight for the cup. Cause it’s been an exhausting campaign. The entire defense is playing without no rest in any game.

What a great teammate. I was worried that his time was going to come to as Carlos was on the verge of getting the second. How about Guidelj coming back and playing some crucial minutes.

I did one of those post-game recap things. Apologies on the length, as this one clocks in at just under 17 minutes.

Nice Recap Edi, great stuff. I would say
- With Vaclik we would have lost 4-1.
- Our midfield was gaping, which troubles leaked through to the defense exposing them even more. Bono compensating for all of it.
- Jordan did some super risky stuff and gave away some really stupid balls. Setting up some Man utd danger. Didn´t get punished as it should have.
- Luuk de Jong when he comes on, he looks like he played 140 minutes already, walking slowly like its a cup game against Segunda B league or something. In the end he will be judged on the goal but he´s no material besides a pinch hitter.
- Super glad for Suso, he relieved some pressure, holding on to the ball pretty well combining with Navas. The goal was a must sit, if we didn´t put that one I would have thought it was over. And Man Utd would have ran away with it. So that is the clutch stuff we need in games like this.
