UCL R16 - 1st Leg: Sevilla FC v Borussia Dortmund [20/21]

Instead of bringing on Munir, Vidal, Oliver, we get Gudelj. Thanks Lope, tactical genius!

I get it. He’s trying to stop that counter, but we are down 2 goals. I think we needed additional changes as well.

I can see why he brought Gudelj on. We have to stop the bleeding somehow.

Out of ALL the players to bring on, Gudelj he decides when we’re TWO GOALS DOWN

He’s moved to 3 at the back to stop the bleeding as Mark said. Fernando, Carlos and Kounde with Gudelj slotting into the DM position. So far looks good.

De Jong and Oliver coming in now

Now he’s bringing attackers on. I think the plan was to stem the tide a bit first and now we can try add more in attack. Munir, Torres and de jong coming on.

Suso has been our best player. I don’t get taking him off. YEN hasn’t done shit so whatever.

Aggressive: I expect to see a much better showing from you in the second half

Supposed to be an easier draw. Wonder what it would look like had we drawn PSG or others.

Gone are the days possession meant anything in modern football. We can’t divert all those possessions in meaning, which I have been questioning for so long.

I think Monchi knows that, but athletic players that’s good are pretty dang expensive.
but he need put even more focus on athleticism in the future.

Can’t even create meaningful shoot on target.

Oh so apparently if you’re a Dortmund player you can shove a player down and it’s not a foul
