UCL R16 - 1st Leg: Sevilla FC v Borussia Dortmund [20/21]

At least we don’t see Gudelj in the 30th.

Is it just me… Or does Jesus slow our attacks down too much? Everytime the ball goes out wide to him he stops our movement and they get back behind the ball.

I do agree with you Jim, I think it is due to his injuries. Also - Fernando looks a bit tired today for some reason.

I would have started Vidal to be honest. As he’s been in form and shouldn’t change a winning team. He’s more solid defensively too.

Good save Bono. Does Diego Carlos fancy actually sticking tight to Haaland or what?

What is Fernando doing ?? Maybe it’s because he’s having to do the work of 2 or 3 men

We need some direction here. All over the place at the back, not creating anything going forwards, Jesus Navas and Papu Gomez both slowing down and stopping our attacking impetus.

We really need to regroup and change some things

One thing for sure, La liga opponents including Barca Madrid atletico are way too slow compare to Dortmund and premier league teams.

I agree it’s a shock to the system. We struggling to adapt to their dynamic, fast and direct play.

Carlos and fernando are getting done for pace so far.
