This knee thing really annoys me now, Fair enough as a “one off”. But how long is it going on for?
We should have simply stood in position and let Chelsea get on with it. It was the same against Wolves & M Utd. The worlds gone mad,
Gudelj & Acuña joint man of the match for me.
That’s an interesting statement by Lampard
Sincerely honest question; Are Sevilla really at the level to be in the final 4 of the Champions, using Chelsea as a comparison of level? Or are Chelsea just plain average?
Yeah… one lucky clearance and he’s all over their media, talk about overrating.
Chelsea were average last night, reminded me of Wolves, just a bit better than them. They defended stoically though.
The local radio were going crazy for Sevilla today.
It got me thinking who normally reach the semis, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern, Juventus. And then the English clubs oscillate Man U, Man C, Liverpool and Chelsea.
Real Madrid and Barcelona are not looking good, We performed well against Bayern and they were the strongest team of the year. So it could have some merit that we are actually genuine possibilities. But one game and the press get carried away, as always.
Real Madrid are losing 0-3 to Shaktar at half time, ha haha ha.
[Edit: just remembered that Atletico Madrid have reached a few CL finals]
Exactly. You can clearly see that Chelsea aren’t solid as a team. We play better as a collective which gave us the adv throughout the game. We just don’t make the most from our possessions, and i think Lope will tinker with that in these next few games.
Lampard’s really just happy cause they didn’t concede.
Against Shaktar reserves it’s now 2-3 Hope these young kids can hang on.
Final score 2-3 with a goal for madrid ruled out by VAR in the last minute HA HA HA HA
I mean yes, with the amount of new players you don’t expect Chelsea to be flowing well directly tho. They are in a building phase as well, at least with some of the squad. Compared to us, with a lot of already established connections and key players. I don’t blame Chelsea but it’s not a fair comparison imo. Let’s see them in some months and see
Wow… didn’t know this. Gets you thinking, what if the regular first team players played and lost? Lol…
Just seen this bit of comm from Flashscore tonight whilst going through the games.
Midtjylland v Atalanta
“High and wide! Luis Muriel (Atalanta) hits a first-time shot from distance that’s none too pretty and goes miles wide of the left post”
Nothing new there
haha and then he answers, didn´t see the goal but he popped up on the scoreboard.
