Hey guys. This is our first summer with the podcast. With no matches happening, what kind of show ideas can you guys think of?
I thought about one episode on the kits over the years. Have @SurreySevilla on to talk about his collection and get your general thoughts on favorites, what really stunk, etc. This could be a fun group chat one.
I am in agreement with all of the topics that you mentioned here, and I would definitely be down for a FIFA tournament anytime!
I am keen to see how the Euro and the Copa America play out this summer, and it would definitely be great to hear content and discussions around these tournaments and the players that are on the Sevilla transfer radar. Also, with many of the current Sevilla squad players most likely to take place in these tournaments as well, it would be good to discuss their performances with their national teams as well as any transfer related news that could have been generated from their play in the tournaments. I am sure that we are all curious about what the future of Kounde will hold this summer, and I have a feeling that if he makes it into the France Euro 2021 squad and has a good tournament we may have to cash in on him this summer…
I think there will be more than usual tournaments of football during this Summer but It’s a great idea to keep a podcast going. I’ll put the thinking cap on regarding topics for the ‘cold turkey, wot no Sevilla?’ Summer. AFter all, we’ll have next years kit to talk about by mid July.
So it’s cochinilla a food colouring from the cactus bug. It’s a beaut, I do love that kit and I’ve never really liked a blue away kit before except when we win unexpectedly.
Technically not my wife, we never got married. I’m too cheap to buy a ring and she might say no. More so, she is not a Spanish citizen. Her mother was born there and holds dual and her grandmother of course is from there. I am trying to find out more about her eligibility to become a dual citizen which would open the door for me with some paperwork and you know…a ring. haha
Next week we have a special guest on. While he doesn’t have any direct ties to the team, he was/is an announcer and analyst for BeIN Sports here in the US. A product of , he spent a lot of time in the US as a player and manager. He also coached my favorite MLS squad. Anyway, Tomas Rogen will be on with us next week to chat about Sevilla’s season and La Liga in general. If you have any questions you would like to ask him please shoot them to me.
The Monchi’s Men pod took a few weeks off here. We were trying to get Thomas Rongan on, but his schedule is nuts right now with Copa, WCQ and MLS going on. He’s got lots of gigs.
