Summer 2024 - Sevilla FC Transfer Rumors

What’s also worrying about Depay is that he has not been involved in pre-season preparation (which is crucial for a player) with any club. Add to that the injury-prone issue, and we can easily have a nightmare combination of Marcao - Isco.

On the contrary, he had a good overall Euro campaign with the Netherlands NT. Was subbed off in the 37th min in the semifinal vs. England due to injury, but usually played full matches prior to that and scored 1 goal in the group stages.

Ocampos to Monterrey seems like a done deal, waiting to be announced after the match tonight.

He will join two of his ex-teammates at Sevilla, Tecatito and Oliver Torres.

Rayo is also looking to sign Depay.

Montiel and Bade finally stay, at least until the next transfer window :stuck_out_tongue:

Memphis Depay not happening. There are much better offers for him than we can pay
Looking like we will have to wait until Jan to replace Ocampos. :rage:

The Montiel place is over-subscribed, so that’s a type of problem we don’t need.

Totally scandalous if that happens…

Turkish side Beşiktaş have transferred Rafa Silva from Benfica and İmmobile from Lazio with no transfer fee. The duo so far dominates the Turkish league. I am really curious why Sevilla did not go for those guys but instead seeks cheap alternatives elsewhere. And most of the time these alternatives can’t make an impact immediately. It is a roll of dice these new guys. Especially when Monchi is not around.

They say we have no money. Where it all went hasn’t been explained… At least not wellm

My only guess would’ve been Covid. But it seems like a lot when we heard that we went from record profits, to €90 million in debt in such a short time

Ocampos hours at Sevilla are counted. He is leaving for 7 million Euros to Monterrey in Mexico.

On the other hand, it’s not sure who will be his replacement - or if we’ll have a replacement for him at all… which would’ve been scandalous.

Depay most likely not coming. Latest rumor is Adam Ounas (without a club) who last played for Lille.

Saw on the Sevilla FC Facebook feed that the Ocampos deal is officially done. Sad to see him go. He brought passion for the game to every match.

Sadly, his going away conference is live on youtube right now.

Lucas in tears, the president was like a car salesman. This club is being run by payasos

Another one of the true fighters gone. 3 in one window is tough on a squad.

Gracias Lucas! You fought for the badge.

Ocampos will be missed. That him and YEN gone. We let so much quality go at wrong times and not got the best money for them. We never replaced them right and we get weaker each season. It is worrying the way the club is run.

Favorite current player. That is sad. Bye Ocampos.

He will be missed. I think he peaked at Lopetegui era. He had the ball glued to his feet. Unfortunately, he lacked the final touch.Had he finished all those chances he missed, his name would have to be written on the Argentinian players hall of Fame.

Feels like Ejuke risks becoming our new “ball stuck to feet” player. Hoping it’s not the case and he can do some things that Ocampos has struggled to do in recent years.

But Ocampos will be missed, regardless

He definitely looks a little hesitant with the ball at his feet. I hope it’s just because the team hasn’t really come together yet. Hopefully as they get more playing time and become more comfortable with each other, he’ll be able to pick out those passes and rely on his teammates a little more.
