Looks like Gudelj could be headed to Saudi Arabia. Itād be good to get his salary off the books, but Iāll hate to see him go. Heās done literally everything weāve asked of him, and heās given his all to this club.

Fabrizio is reporting the Agoume deal is finalized with a 4 million Euro fee plus a 50% sell-on clause. Contract unknown at this time.

Sorry for the Spanish article, as always, but this was a great status check. Honestly, as much as all the changes in last couple summers has been tough on the sporting side of the ledger, I really think Orta has done a great job helping players move on in a timely fashion rather than letting stuff dangle for too long, which Monchi seemed to be guilty of during the Lopetegui yearsā¦
The team has moved much more quickly than in past markets, too, which has a really great knock on effect for the coach to begin knowing how to craft his squad. Not to suggest this squad looks like a Top 3 or even Top 5 squad at the moment, but some of the dross has been lifted and Iām hoping for some progress at Center Back ASAP. Beyond that huge weakness, we are moving in the right direction to be sure.

From what ive heard, the fee is 4 million plus 50% sell on clause. Better than 8 million for 100%
I supposeā¦but only if we assume the present value of the eventual sale is less than $8m (50% * 8 m = 4 m)ā¦right? Or am I thinking about this wrong?
