I dunno for me I’d put Lucas Ocampos price tag at $20m, so $15 does seem that crazy, especially when you consider he only has a year left on his contract.

Yeah I’m pretty sure I saw his contract was until 2025. Could be rumors cause the club never announced a one year extension as officially his contract runs out in a year.

I’ll not be pleased to see either Ocampos or Tecatito move on, even at or above market price. And maybe these are just the invented stories of Daily Fail etc. There really is nothing much happening at the moment and the press tend to invent stuff.

Romano linking us to 22yo winger Melamed from Espanyol. Last year on contract + team relegated makes for good deals. I just dunno how good/promising he is.
I’d still prefer De Frutos out of Levante, but maybe we’re finally addressing the age issue.

Def not ready for either of these players to leave, especially after only seeing Tecate for half a season. Ocampos for me is the biggest lost for how well he fits Mendi’s 4-4-2 block. He’s a throwback wide midfielder with skill & physicality. But if that money comes calling, ay, you deserved it brother.

First Melamed then Summerville, all wingers. Could mean Orta is looking to refresh the attacking department, but as stated in the past 2 windows it’s central midfield and defence which really needs some beefing up, also a striker.
