Toreira said that he doesn’t want to play in Europe anymore and wants to go back to Argentina to stay close to his family. He’s a good player but not an upgrade to what we have and although we need a DM, we need a better DM than Toreira as an alternative to Fernando.

Also Rodrigo after not a too succesfull year at Leeds has been rumoured. I did like him some years ago but for me I would be hesitant at this point.

If we want to look at the Eredivisie for an actual top player. We should try Donyell Malen (22). But I don’t know how we are being looked at from players personal view. We are not at the names of clubs that excites them as much. That’s why we get the idrissi types or tom de mul, a while back. The “just coming short in too many aspects” players.
Tariq Lamptey, I do like too as a Navas replacement. But many topdogs in the race for him.

Madueke, yeah very talented guy. Transitioned smoothly from the youth to the first team, but I can see him stay year or two more but he will get to a higher stage for sure but only just 19.

Speaking of Eredivisie, I’ve heard good things about Senesi from Feyenoord, who we’ve also been linked to. Only 23, and a talented central defender.

Yeah I read it too Shendm, I am quite impressed by him this year. First when he got to the national team as well, I was sceptical and he started a bit shaky. But he developed well this year and is a well rounded midfielder. He has great passes but not shy of defensive work. Can do the no nonsense stuff but has the ability to create. If you’d compare him with the big names, a mix of kroos and busquets but obviously he’s not a that level. Also he’s captain of the under 23 national team. His team mate Boadu is also still rumoured. Would be a good duo pick up. But they are from a very different level to idrissi for example. We did something wrong there to go for him first and pay that much (12-14m da fuk) Anyway that’s passed us now. Koopmeiners has future for sure.

He’s the best Moroccan player. But he’s doing well for Chelsea now, so i don’t see this happening.
I also think this is who Monchi wanted for that ‘Suso’ profile, but it didn’t work out.

He’s not even in the picture for Chelsea. New manager isn’t interested in playing Ziyech. Understandably because he doesn’t track back and isn’t the type for PL. He’s a class player, don’t get me wrong. But he also has nasty traits and is way to vain. So do we need him, probably not, do we need to want him, also it’s a no for me.

Heard rumors of Johan Vazquez from UNAM in liga mx. He’s a young CB, and I’ve heard good things about him, although I think there’s a lot of bias in those things I’ve heard. Anyways, it could be interesting, a big risk nonetheless.
